- Almighty So by Chief Keef is one of my all time favorite hip-hop projects. In this video, I break down the concept and story of this incredibly deep and detailed mixtape, describing how Sosa finds happiness through expressing himself through art. @@bloodbath1058it doesn’t matter what his intent was. The end result was a groundbreaking project that went on to influence artists even a decade later. Yeah Chief Keef did not know what he was doing at the time, and didn’t put all that much effort in, but the fact that it’s that raw just kind of adds to the status of the album since he was able to make something so influential without even trying.

This was a really cool breakdown I recently just checked this project out for the first time I really enjoyed it but wasn't really paying attention to the lyrics too much but knowing more about the concept now should be cool for the next time I listen to it

@@abejames7529 Almighty So is more of a sound he was trying and it ended up being the most influential sound of the past 10 years, I don't think he intended to have a super deep meaning or anything, but he was super ahead of his time with all of the sounds, this was intended to be ground breaking from a sound perspective not a lyrical perspective

Love the video, my fav project oat. Btw ISObeats had said that Sosa sent him the whole song I Kno finished after just 20 minutes since he gave him the beat, so idk if sosa would be able to project such a complex story into it in such a short time, but a awesome video nevertheless. W

damn great video dude, definitely my favorite chief keef album to date. your perspective is interesting, i think Interscope desperately needed a new record from sosa since he was so hot at the time and sosa simply didn't give a fuck he wasn't tryna cooperate or do anything they were tryna make him do lmao so he just locked himself in the studio with a 2L sprite a pint of codeine and a pound of weed and made whatever the fuck he wanted which came out as a super authentic masterpiece speaking on where he was in his life and what he overcame to get there.
