Thank James. Great video. I bought this P40 a few years ago as a VQ plane. Never did anything with it till I saw it again under a new name from Motion RC. Thanks again for your videos and great content. PastorV
Finally I got my TA 152 . Oohh yeah!! She's on the work bench... waiting on my fms p40..1400mm .. up here in erie..5 foot of snow..so james what kind snow shoes / skies does motion have ..for the. TA lol nice job on p40.. alex / camera dude nice work..ty ! And do you fly?
Can someone tell me how your guys at Motion were able to fit a MAS 15x7 3-blade prop on this airplane using the GP10 motor? The prop shaft adapter is WAY too short to accommodate the 19mm thickness of the prop hub. Best I can do is get a 14x7 to fit and that is only by not using the prop washer and only having a few shaft threads...not enough threads to even go all the way through the nut.
This is exactly what I was looking for , great review and assembly video I have built something very similiar It was a VQ P39 Aircobra I used 46 size motor 560 kv that pull 1100 watts with athree bladed MA 12x8 and 5 cell 4500 mah 6min flying time , 61 inch wing span ,auw 8lbs. BTW fixed landing gear no retracks.
Great flying James. Beautiful plane. This Old Man has been using the watt meter for years. Try to check all my planes ESCs and motors. Love your videos. ✈️😎💝💝
Smooth flying James, 9.5 lbs, 1200w about 125watts per lb, spot on for warbirds James . I have the VQ P39 Airacobra, same size 1680mm span but lighter set up, 71gms/dm2. 6.3lbs 850watt 45amp 5s, 135watt/lb. The good thing about the balsa arf is that you can choose how you set it up to suit how you want to fly. Will Motion R.C. be adding the P39 to the Nexa range ?
takes all of 2 seconds to convert it. took more time to comment about it. www.google.com/search?q=mm+to+inches&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS882US882&oq=mm+to+inches&aqs=chrome..69i57j6j0j0i433j0i395l6.1727j1j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
It's easier to work with mm/metric for smaller measurements like throws, just get yourself a metric scale. First, because basically all the manuals list their recommended throws in mm. Second, because 10mm, for instance, is a lot easier to work with than 0.393701", or 25/64".
Please tell the people on NEXA to take a good look on all the real planes and stop make all wings too flat. It destroy almost all their plans that could be so good looking.
