It depends on how heavy... I'm in Italy and by law the weight must be under 25kg for men, 15kg for women. I work in a factory and obviously I don't stand there to weigh every piece of raw or machined steel that comes to me on the scales, if I can lift it by hand I lift it up to 70 kg, for pieces that weigh 2 tons I use the crane on the tracks of course. But don't lift 8kg by hand because it's heavy is bullshit
