Hey Awesomepirate, that is very sad to hear, imagining all the materials invested. Sadly that's the point of 'gambling'. Your situation is the scenario were going full gold from the beginning would have been cheaper, but you don't know that from the beginning.
It is not interesting to add more than one orange material, to try your luck. You either put only one, or you put all of them and give up luck. Otherwise the costs are high.
Good work. As a deputy I always notice that people don't know that armaments can be forged so effectively. Did you notice that since the update it looks like you can merge golden 5 material into dark red 😱.

Hi Lazel, hope you're fine! ;) I've started gambling orange gears, but it's not that clear to me which are the priorities... All my combat gears at level 25 were all in purple quality as I had been really lucky gambling blue to purple from lev. 15 to 20 and later from 20 to 25, so now I would have to put all purple + 1 orange... is that correct? Or should I put anyway all blue + my purple gear + 1 orange? For now I've tried 4 attempts on 4 different pieces starting from the Dragonscale belt, but I hadn't found even 1 orange piece (putting all purple pieces + my equipment + 1 orange piece) ... :( Here are the probabilities of recasting: - blue equipment + 5 blue pieces + 1 orange piece = 77% blue 13,8% purple 9,2% orange - purple equipment + 5 purple pieces + 1 orange piece = 87,3% purple 12,7% orange - purple equipment + 5 blue pieces + 1 orange piece = 56,3% blue 34,5% purple 9,2% orange I hadn't considered before that the probabilities of getting orange quality were identical by putting blue or purple quality but I wanted to avoid the quality drop so I hadn't even tested it before and I wasted a lot of materials... Another problem is: ok it's nice to have all fighting gear in orange quality, but most of the time I don't use it and I'm pretty always in farming/gathering/monster mode... So would you continue with my method to ensure at least the purple quality and then later to recast what I'm not getting in orange or after the first recast would you do also other important equipments in blue/purple (those for recruitment/farming gems/stamina/monsters' speed/etc...? I'd probably to the 2nd way because as soon as I get the purple quality on auxiliary equipments then I'll keep them up to C40 and after having gotten them I could concentrate on recasting the others with new materials, but I might be wrong so I prefer to ask you before doing stupid things (like I've probably have already done wasting a lot of purple materials)!
Greetings Endy, it depends on how high your material income is, if you can secure many attempts of gambling orange gear I’d put a all blue and one orange material and if you can’t I’d keep the purple quality. If i would start again I’d first begin with the farming gear as I’ve said in my dragonscale belt video.
Hi there, thanks for the great tips. Did you do all these tries continuously one after the other ? or was there a gap between(in terms of days i mean)?
Thanks for the guide. I'm new on WAO and my castle is C13. From the video what can i summaries is its better for me to forge blue equioment and started to forge purple or orange on level 25 above. Am i right?
Yeah, at least that’s how i would do it now, what’s important in my opinion is to gamble level 30 gear before forging higher gear, because the material costs are too high to gamble level 35+ orange gear
Sorry could you clarify a bit more? At C30 I'll gamble all blue material and one gold material. If my forge gives me a purple would you gamble with all purple and 1 gold or still stick with blue and 1 gold?
Hello, i tried to gamble with all blue and one orange, that worked out too. If you get a purple gear part out of it you have to know for yourself if you want to keep it purple, i would consider it depending on how many more tries of gambling you can do and if you need the gear part on a regular basis.
If you get purple gear would you use that in your setup and build up another piece of level 25 blue gear to gamble with instead of risking the level 30 purple gear?
It depends on how many gear parts you have. I would gamble from 25 to 30 with a chance of orange. If it turns out purple and you still have a lot of 25 gear i would continue to gamble the gear from 25 to 30. when you have only 30 gear left i would gamble all those to orange 30
@@NewHorizons-Lazel I don't have any extra gear. I currently have 4 blue and 2 orange and I'm gambling using this method. Eventually I'm going to get a purple and will have to figure out how to play it.

Can you help!? I am better off not gambling or should I proceed?
Hey Kristoffer, that sounds really unlucky and sadly it is a gamble in the end were it all comes down to a chance of success. In my video i described how i did it, maybe you’ll have more success with purple materials, good luck forging your orange gear 👍🏼
@@NewHorizons-Lazel I am forging purple level 20 equipment, using a purple material and the rest of the blue ones. Is that recommended? Sometimes I was unsuccessful and tried again. That is, I don't want to bet blue + orange, but purple + orange.
You can do that, in my opinion it becomes interesting when you forge from level 25-30. For the short period of time from 20-30 you can profit from blue or purple gear.
Hey Gary, i never speed an Equipment, only if i can have it in time for an event. Speeds can be used way more efficient than in the forge in my opinion.
Hello Cory, no you don't have to start with purple or orange from the beginning. When you choose which Gear you want to forge you can add different qualities of materials and by that the chances of getting a blue, purple or orange Gear part out of the forging process will be shown. When you've watched the part of Calculations and Percentages in my Video you'll see it there.
Hi, I gamble every time but recently I got a question, I have an accessory lvl 25 orange with buff ( demage increase when attacking) what should happen if I will forge a belt lvl30 with this accessory? Always orange of course ( I’m interested more if I will lose the buff or not)
No! You have an orange gear part, never give those away in my opinion. You can still find some use for it even if you already have an orange accessory. Maybe forge it to a gear part where you still have to find a good enhancement.
@@NewHorizons-Lazel alright, I will use it on another part that I use for stamina recovery, my armour after belt will be all orange so I can use for another part instead keep purple
Hi Lazal, I just started building c25. I've been following the reddit gear guide (until now) and now have many blue level 20 gear gambled up from grey. The guide then says to gamble to purple at lvl 25 then gold at 30. It will probably take a while for me to get to c30 so do you think it's worth the materials saved to do your method but having a weaker castle until I get to c30?
Hey Keegan, if you know that it’s gonna take you a while to get to c30 it can be good to have purple 25 gear so you benefit from the better percentages, but remember that gamble tries for golden 30 gear will be more expensive in materials if you wanna keep your purple gear when the gamble fails. All options have their ups and downs
@@NewHorizons-Lazel Thanks for the fast reply! I saw a comment that was deleted here saying that if you get an enhancement that you don't like you can re-forge the gear part (from different gear slots; eg. weapon -> helmet) and get a refund on the obsidian. @@keeganmorris26 Obsidian Steel has an extremely high value and more than 5 blue materials in my opinion. I never had the scenario that you describe, but from what i read is that you want to use 25 Obsidian for an enhancement and if you don't like the enhancement you forge a different gear part to get the 25 obsidian back? That would end in spending 10 blue materials to forge the actual gearpart 25 again with no enhancement and then repeating the process until you find the enhancement you want.
@@NewHorizons-Lazel I believe that's what would happen according to the deleted comment, I will need to test it. Where did you get the 10 blue materials from?
