Early on in Suits each character had a specific voice, but in later seasons the writing took a hit and everyone started to talk the same way. Every show has a little bit of "no one really talks like this," but they crank it up high from season 6 on.
the repetition of vocabulary is what does it for me, how many times "mother teresa" has been used to contrast the behavior of another character is much higher than one would ever imagine
I never could put my finger on it, but you nailed it. The show was only expected to go 3 seasons, with the premise of “non lawyer pretending to be a lawyer”. After Megan jump started the show to “Must See TV”. My complaint is Louis was a great side character, but they used him too much as one of the main leads. It is like putting Frank Burns in to replace McLain Stevenson
sherlock they have stong bond together and has known each other for more than a decade. everybody all of a sudden started hating on Donna as if she was just a secretary, talking to them like that.
I love how when Mike was locked up Harvey wasn't studding his own doggone firm. Lol. Nobody could even talk to the man; all he cared about was getting Mike out. If you wasn't talking to him about getting Mike Ross out of prison then you had better get out of his face. Lol.
I’m fairly sure it’s a reference to any scenario in which two opposing sides head towards each other until one party moves out of the way. Two people driving towards one another until one swerves, for example.
2 cars drive towards each other at a breakneck speed. Each driver is resolved to prove his mettle and refuses to slow down or turn away from the other. As the two hurl themselves down the road, they wait for the other to break away from the innevitable carnage. Just as they are about to careen into each other in a disatrous heap of flame and screeching metal one of them loses his nerve and swerves, saving himself from a certain death but losing the battle of will.
When I was a kid, me mum was on a jury in case about vehicular manslaughter. We got to go to hear the verdict, which was guilty. Years later, I reminded her of it and she said the guy the convicted and the guy who died were playing chicken. She was disgusted with the convicted man. He went to prison.
I like Suits the programme, but the 'suits' in the show are poor quality, like ALL American suites. They should have brought British, French and Italian (and not American Italian).
Donna can talk like that talking about her boss who harvey without donna before mike in the picture harvey was a nobody donna grew him i mean grew with him 😅
The most overused line in this series is, "what did you just say to me". As if you didn't hear it the first time. There are others but that one is so pretentious and annoying that it's number one.
why donna speaking like she owns the place and everyone in it? but somehow still leave some respect to jessica? this isnt one of those idiotic feminist moment, is it?
The waiter was too funny 😂

Unpopular opinion Gretchen was better secretary and person than Donna.
I wish being a lawyer was this interesting 😂
Lool
That sounds like u are one.
I enjoy it like this.
Get writers for the real lawyers!
Or this easy.
It’s the same with lots of jobs
A Secretary talking to her boss like that. Must be joke thing😂😂
He turns into such a cuck…

2:08 Harvey's reply to William should've been, "Well, that doesn't seem like a lot of time, does it?"
So u rewrite or edit scripts now?
that is something a teenager would say
"Rest of my life? Ha, no, the rest of yours :) "
Only Donna can talk to Harvey like that
And Mike on certain occasions
You didn’t see Jessica in the series huh
Jessica Pearson
Should have been fired since s1 . . Made him weak and vulnerable
Gretchen was better

Harvey Specter ❤
harvey might be the name , but law is surely not the game in this show
Lol
Nigerian prince 👑 😂😂😂
Gabriel Macht❤
she’s the Heart of this entire show‼️
You must be blind
"It's a scam..." 😏😂
brilliant Donna ‼️
I enjoyed every minute of this series, nearly as much as FRIENDS. Now let's see if I can watch it again the same way ; )
Exactly 💯 Friends and suits are masterpiece
dear lord really? low bar@@Theblackbutler
Definitely "Harvey Specter is the Name and Law is the Game"....
Love that Capture...!!!!!
Remember the Name Harvey Specter!!!!!
Loved seeing David Hewlett stretch his legs in that role.
I love how they make Harvey smarter than everyone else
David Hewlett Aka Rodney Mckay Aka Meredith Aka the Destroyer of Lemons.
Aka Destroyer of Solar Systems
Jessica and Donna side by side ❤🔥
Luv how the Women strut as if on a Cat Walk
Absolutely and I’ve always wondered why they’ve been forced to do so. So artificial and beyond a point painfully exhausting to look at!
When are y’all gonna post bts & blooper?
after they post everything twice so we keep talking about the show for years
I like it when Donna becomes Harvey giving the order....
Imagine being an actual real Nigerian prince and nobody believes a single thing you say😢
Dr. Rodney McKay.😃
I love him!
Seasons 5 and 6 of suits are goated.
After S1, those were the 2 best
They probably saved so much money not having extras during this season.
Ooh Rodney came back from the Atlantis !!!
Rodney McKay in action
Donna was useless. I would have fired her if I were in Harvey's shoes. Oversteps her bounds
Did Donna just spoke to Harvey in a white dress before the Sutter meeting and then informed him about Nathan meeting with a black dress.
Nice catch up 😅😅😅
This old guy is like Lord Sith.. same vibes XD
Darth Sutter?
Ahh, Dr. Rodney McKay, long time no see
what’s the music at the end with harvey and the other guy?
Lil yachty - broccoli
Okay fine. I will rewatch suits again lol.
Why is Rachel’s storyline removed from this episode?
what does 'playing chicken' or 'playing a game of chicken' mean?? Harvey says that a handful of times
Maybe something about being afraid.. ya know, chickening out
I’m fairly sure it’s a reference to any scenario in which two opposing sides head towards each other until one party moves out of the way. Two people driving towards one another until one swerves, for example.
A game of chicken refers to doing something dangerous and seeing who is the first person to get cold feet.

Yeah so about that 😂

The clothes?
They are old American men in AMERICA
harvey's suit is actually of british style and cut
Nope! So, wrong....@@FilipinoPride10
tf are you talking about? Harvey's suits are British
What was
Rodney doing away from Atlantis
..This is a soap opera in, unsurprisingly, suits.
Donna thinks she a CEO 💀
Donna can talk like that talking about her boss who harvey without donna before mike in the picture harvey was a nobody donna grew him i mean grew with him 😅
Mehn......I love Donna😭
How did Sutter take on Harvey a few episodes later after this?
Donna was the Leagle Eagle of the Firm!!!!
wot does harvey do with all the basketballs? toss them out the window when the Knicks lose?
Gretchen was a much better secretary
the little bit of gretchen we got wasn't enough, she should have been there from day one imo
Donna sickening
Donna in later seasons
"You got me"
"I got you"
Donna wanna do everything but do her job
Great deal Hyundai be like
He should be in her position...
The most overused line in this series is, "what did you just say to me". As if you didn't hear it the first time. There are others but that one is so pretentious and annoying that it's number one.
Change of clothes, by donna...white from blue...
why donna speaking like she owns the place and everyone in it?
but somehow still leave some respect to jessica?
this isnt one of those idiotic feminist moment, is it?
Mikes got a big forehead
So what?!!
I love Harvey and I hate Mike.. Mike ruined Suits!
How
Mike is suits
