Hi Bente, don't be sad about the rune series not getting as much attention as it deserves. I promise you that some people like me will come back to the series again and again. You helped me so much with this. ❤️ Thank you. 🌈
❤For anyone who is uncomfortable spilling blood for their bind rune, the method I use that Bente didn't mention is using my pulse to charge the piece. I have an amulet that I had carved from a piece of pine, over a year ago (way before discovering this amazing channel), and after fire aging it with a blowtorch, sanding and varnishing it, I added protection oil and squeezed it lightly in my hand so as to feel my pulse coursing through my amulet. In this way, while focusing on my intentions of protection and reaction, I fed my life giving energy into the talisman to charge it with a goal. This also is a quick and painless way to recharge an amulet after a turbulent period or event, much like one would rub a worry stone or count prayer beads. It seems to have worked really well for me, and I gladly share it with this community. I hope that this helps?
Here is my method for activating the runes if anyone is interested in it. Again, this is my way and it isn’t the “right” way; however, it does work for me. First I have a candle that is lit (representing Muspelheim) and a cup of ice (representing Niflheim). This represents the creation of the universe when Muspelheim and Niflheim came together and formed Ymir, the ancestor of all, essential the creation of life. I take one rune at a time and pass that rune through the candle (Muspelheim) and through the ice (Niflheim), signifying the creation of life and the rune being born into existence. Then I chant the rune 9 times. 9 signifying the 9 days and 9 nights that Odin hung himself to gain the knowledge and wisdom of the runes. Hence me chanting the rune 9 times is allowing me to receive the wisdom and knowledge of that specific rune as well. Then I take my blood and outline the rune with its respective symbol. My blood represents the blood that Odin shed from piercing himself with gungnir (his spear). Once that is done, I blow into the rune to solidify the life of the rune. My breathe represents the breathe that Oðinn, Hœnir, and Lóðurr (Vili and Ve) gave to askr and embla. I feel this is important since it’s how humans were created. I then put that rune in my linen pouch and repeat the process for all 24 runes. Tips: If you want to use your blood but don’t want to cut yourself with a ceremonial knife, you can always use a diabetic pen on your finger tips. Won’t leave a scar and still able to sacrifice your blood for the runes. Also I have 3 other candles around that represent the 3 Norns (Urðr, Verðandi, and Skuld) so the Norns can bare witness to my ritual/ceremony and weave my fate and intertwine my life with the runes. When casting the runes, I will always light up 3 candles for the Norns so they can guide my reading and have influence on my rune casting (although if I am doing a single rune reading with only one rune, I won’t light the 3 candles since the runes and I are already connected to each other). Only when I am casting more than a single rune will I light the 3 candles. Also my personal recommendation is to get runes that come from something that used to be alive such as a tree or bones. I found that working with runes painted on rocks and inanimate objects don’t hold life/energy to them. I will say if you get a new set of runes and want to get rid of the old set, do not throw the old ones in the trash. Respect them in death as you did in life. Bury them, cast them into the ocean, or burn them. You can ask the runes how they want to be laid to rest by randomly choosing a rune from your pouch as each rune is associated with one of the 4 elements. Lastly, I would not perform this ritual until you understand each and every single rune, from their names and their deepest meanings. Do extensive research, might take a month or two but it is very important you understand every rune before performing this ritual. Again this is how I do my rune readings and how I activate them. It isn’t the right or wrong way, but it has worked tremendously for me. It can be time consuming, but brings so much value to the connection you have with the runes and solidifies the bond between you and your runes (at least for me). Hope you all enjoyed!! 🍻
I'm pretty practiced at sigils but I didn't realise that bind runes are so similar to create. The way you've shown your process on paper is really easy to understand. Over the past few months you may have become my favourite youtube channel. Thanks Bente 💚

Hi Bente! Thank u so much for this video, it’s really helpful 😊 I have a quick question, when using a bind rune or normal rune for a spell, would you write the rune on something first and then activate it? I wrote fehu on the bottom of what will be my money bowl, but now I’ve written it on the bottom do I need to active it? Should I just hold the bowl and think about the rune activating ? And would it be the same if it was on a piece of paper or an object? Any advice would be really helpful! Thank you 😊
Hello! I have so many questions! Can we simply write runes on a piece of paper and simply keep them somewhere? like between my mattress? Can I write them on paper and then burn the paper? Does that do anything? Since I shake a lot and not very artistic, could I use a laser engraver to engrave runes onto wood? What about getting binding runes as a tattoo, or other runes in general such as good health, good fortune, a happy and prosperous life? Love runes? I have to many questions! I appreciate your time and efforts. May goodness in all things find it's way to you.
Hello, I have a question? How can I use my blood in a spell? Should I sprinkle my blood on the spell directly or in a different way? What will I do with the spell after they activate it with my blood? Can I throw it away, burn it, or keep it?
Talking about using the runes to cure someone without knowing what you’re doing… I have a little story! One time, me desperate trying to help my sick friend who was in the ICU (while pregnant, 37 weeks) I put some runes that has to do with health and family on top of her picture and asked Frigg to help her. I bought some offerings but I’m sure it wasn’t enough or i did something wrong with the runes themselves or maybe this is the way it goes? My friend had the baby, her health improved and everyone was good and out of the hospital after a week. Fast forward ⏩ 10 days later, I’m sick with the same sickness. And consequently my daughter and husband too. What do you think happened here? Maybe I payed the full price because I had just started approaching the goddess and didn’t have a stablished relationship with her? Idk…

Oh I‘m so glad! The videos did pretty badly initially so I’m always so so happy to hear that someone enjoys the series 🥰 there’ll also be a video soon on how and which runes were and are used by fascists in case that interests you
@@TheNorseWitch I had seen comments regarding them not doing well and was worried it would incentivize you not to make more 😕 they are wonderful videos so I hope the series doesn’t die in regards to them. Yay! I’ll definitely be looking out for it then 🥰 I’ve been researching runes for several months now and would love any information you have on them. I’m trying to decide on buying a set or making my own. Making my own feels like a good direction.
Making your own is always great! Especially since it’s so inexpensive and even if they don’t feel right in the end you didn’t waste a lot of money, unlike if you buy a set and then realize you don’t like it’s energy
Hi, I’m new to your channel and have just started learning about Runes … thanks for your great content. Do you have any good suggestions or advice for runic charms / spells to restore health? I was thinking about designing something, like in your video, and then drawing it on a clear quartz crystal…do you think that would work?
There’s actually a mention of exactly this in a saga! In that saga a combination of runes was carved into a piece of wood and then placed under the bed of the sick person ☺️ I don’t know which runes exactly were used, that wasn’t mentioned. But personally I‘d probably use maybe Berkana, Laguz, Algiz, Ingwaz and Dagaz or something like that?
@@TheNorseWitch thanks so much! I’ve clearly still got a lot to learn because I thought Uruz would be the one to use 😂. What did you think about the crystal idea or is that mixing too many different concepts together?
So I had no idea thurisaz 3 x would bring what u said it would.i actually witnessed that.where a person kept carving it and it was 3 x or more thinking typical American "more is better" and he ended up mad sick and restless.im blown away.
To make a rune work you must do 9 things when asked was made odr gave soul honor shape lodur blooming hue then Odin gave life breath and motion then the norns sprinkled water blessed them and marked their fates thus first is soul or intention why you need them then carve them then color them then give them life with mead then breath on them and put them in motion by sounding them out the sprinkle with water then place your hand on them and will you power into them then sing your spell and place them to stop them you .just scratch them off
First, thank you for sharing your knowledge and giving multiple examples for making bindrunes! Tbh I kinda liked the first example and how complex it was xD but I have just a couple of question :) 1. You said "th" is dagaz.. everything I see says th is thurisaz and dagaz is d... I apologize, that had me a bit confused 😅 2. I'd learned from another source that when making bindrunes, you HAVE to draw every line of every rune, not just see that they're already there. Is that really the case and you were just making it quick examples, or is that not really true??? Thank you again :)
1. Tbh I don’t remember in which context I needed the th but… The runes are phonetic. So th can be dagaz or Thurisaz depending on what it sounds like. Dagaz originally was the sound that’s now ð in Icelandic. It sounds like a soft th like in „the“, while Thurisaz would be used for a th like in „thunder“ if that makes sense ☺️ 2. That sounds a lot like either someone’s UPG or something they read in a random book and just took for fact. Fact is though… we don’t know how bindrunes historically were created. We only see the end results on archaeological finds. So how is anyone to know what’s „the right way“ to do it? In my opinion you can do it however you like and it works for you ☺️ that’s just my personal opinion though.
I usually mix a few drops of blood with paint. Saliva can be used too. Urine for protection, specially of your home and if it is a fertility spell, sex fluids can be useful
I've heard of a practice called Run yoga where you angle your body into rune shapes and channel their force through the body. Is there any truth to that?
hi Bente. i tried rune spell as other random channel suggestion but its not work. then i discover your channel and tried the 3x runes.. i draw wunjo on my left arm and i feel happy the rest of the day + tomorrow. though i feel like its need to renew, like whenever i shower its gone, then i have to rewrite it. but im so happy, without reason. its work!! thank you 🩷🩷 and the fehu 3 times really give me alot of money. i will start to learn from all your video. couldnt thank you more. its really work for me (i tried other, candle magick, the wolf magic, the water magic, nothing work😓) maybe this lifetime im just have to connect to norse things. i hope one day i could visit norse country too. thank you 🩷🩷
When you use a tarot deck for divination, it works. It is undeniable that it works, and any tarot reader can prove it at any time. You can also use runes for divination, it is a poorer language than tarot, but it undeniably works. However, runic magic does not work. Of course, those who present themselves as runic magicians will argue that they have not been activated, that they have not been consecrated, etc. However, these are only excuses. The tarot does not need to be consecrated for it to work very well, I use it and I have never consecrated a tarot deck. But runic magicians do something that a scientist would never do. A scientific theory must be formulated in a way that can be tested, but the formulation of the runic magician cannot be tested. If the runes work, their functioning is demonstrated. If they do not work, it is because they have not been activated. They are always right no matter what. I have tried them and they do not work, and I know many people to whom they do not work. Of course, except for those who sell runic amulets and talismans, they will always say that they work. Can you be honest and say if they really work?
Well, for me they work, otherwise I wouldn’t fucking use them 🤣 I have better things to do than lie to my subscribers about practices just to make like 30€ on a pendant. I’ve sold 3 sets of runes and only devotional amulets, so there really wouldn’t be any use for me to lie about it 🤣 but you do you, boo. It’s just really not cute to just say „iT dOEsNt wOrK“ when your only proof is your own failure 😅
The Crappy Childhood fairy.....on you tube. She said when people are being mean when they are really bothering you and it makes you feel small. She said do things make you feel knowledgeable, that you got it together. They can't get to you then. Like take a course somewhere that you know that will bring your level as a witch a lot higher you see. It being confident in what you are doing that makes the difference. Please look her up before quitting please, if you don't mind.
Hi girl! Peace and love! I want ask you why you have cut your hair? In European belives witches have long hair, becouse it help keep their magic (a bit like Samson in Bible) and also men have beards to keep their "power". Also witches that i know have long hair. Every Godess also have really fucking long hair. Just think about this tip sweety! :D Smile! :D
Hey! First of all - please don’t call me girl or sweety, as a nonbinary person I feel very uncomfortable with that. But apart from that - I cut my hair because I didn’t like my long hair (it was waist long before that). I personally don’t believe that a witches power comes from their hair, just as it doesn’t come from any body part. That doesn’t make a lot of sense to me 😅 I believe my power comes from my spirit as well as the spirits I work with. And for that I don’t need long hair.
@@TheNorseWitch Okay! I can stop it. Please don't be angry on me. In my language sweety is not about boy or girl. I understand. I belive that exist something like qi, meriderians and charkams. I feel it. Maybe one day you also discover this exciting powers. Wish you happy and luck! :D

Great content...is your chest tattoo finished?? Ouch!! Blessings from Devon England 💜🧚♀️🌲🌲
