I'm newly using Power center 10 version. In my current project we are processing more than 60+ input feeds. This demo is really helped me a lot. Thanks.
Can you please give an example of your 60+ input files and how you leveraged the Dynamic Mapping feature? May be if you can pick up 3 input files and explain how you used, that would help everyone here. This would be a real time application as I couldn't really relate the example given in the demo. I want to understand how transformation logic can also be dynamic, and how the sources and targets can be changed during runtime - where do we define them? Thank you!
Hi, 1. Is it possible to add new columns (say audit columns) on the run time in dynamic mapping? 2. On mass ingestion, If I have tables with different number of columns in source, then I can proceed with table with high number of columns as dynamic mapping template and use it for rest of my tables migration? Is my assumption correct? Please clarify.
hi, i want to use a dynamic mapping to remove a specifical set of rows in the same table that have a filter. I want to repeat this operation for 40-50 tables. Can i use this dynamic mapping for this purpose?
Thanks Guys for the clear demo on dynamic mappings and expressions
crisp and clear. Thank You
