I've had this and the Force Ten Xenon and I cut that front webbing off both and it never made the slightest bit of difference to the shape or strength of either. 👍 Massively underrated tent the Scafell 200.

I’ve advised my friend to do the same 🤣 I’d happily stay out in the Scafell 200 again 👌🏻 thanks for watching

    Hola:
    Juan

Thanks for the info! I'm trying to decide between the Vango Scafell 200/300, OEX Rakoon 2.1 or OEX Jackall 2/3 as a lighter weight festival tent... I think the Scafell 300 might be the one!

I have a Rakoon review on my channel also if you’d like to check that out, further back in the library 👍🏻 I’d agree and go with the Vango to be honest!
      Thanks for watching

Does the flysheet outer pitch first then clip in the inner? Looks like you had potentially left the inner clipped in from a Previous pitch?

@@stephenchunter3818 the inner is already attached 🙌🏻

That’s me sold then. Was looking at that and the slightly larger, slightly heavier viso from Alpkit due to the higher waterproof rating as I want one for wild camping on top of the fells but was worried about the size and weight.

@@KieCamps I am not being paid to teach you how to guy and peg a tent. Its just wrong, DYOR and see if you can work out why. But if you are happy with it then thats all that matters.

Seems to me the wind is side on to the tent. I find tunnel tents best off pitching rear into the wind for optimal airflow and for wind to scoop over as opposed to blowing the sides inwards. 🫡

Of course! This was just pitched quickly to show the viewers 👌🏻 but you are right, if I was camping I’d ensure to put the foot end towards the wind 🙌🏻

@@KieCamps I should have been aware it was just a quick pitch. I think I have tent OCD 🤪🫡
