@Piotr Sawicki I am german but his english was good for that time. It was uncommon to speak another language in Germany at that time as a normal person.
He funded the Mexican revolution and was caught trying to bomb a railway connecting to Canada and america because america's involment in the great war but he left back to german before he was caught.
Its because he was a spy in ww1 living in Canada he planned an invasion of Canada and attempted to bomb the Welland Canal which is where I'm from. He was caught at the American border and the Americans wouldn't give ehim to Canada but instead sent him back to Germany. He played a crucial role in Hitler taking chancellorship as he formed a coalition with Von Papen when Hindenburg denied Hitler chancellorship even though he democratically won the most seats.

My father was a member of the 550th Infantry battalion, lead by Col. Edward Sachs , took part in the arrest of Von Papen. He left with 3 silver wine goblets. His papers and accounts of his war encounters were of not much interest when I was a kid, but now, are quite treasured. 2 of the goblets had their cups separated from the stems and remained in that condition for years, tucked away in my dad's "war chest". My sister ended up with the 3 and had a silversmith professionally re-attach them.
It should never been occupied by the French. Then would never been a Hitler and no WW2. The "treaty" was without any role modle in diplomatic history. A shame to the alliied warmongers of 1914 and 1918

Whatever mistake I make in my intire Life, von Papen will Always be ahead of me in bad judgement!
Oh so true
Von Papen was a loyal German patriot who loved the Fatherland. What the fuck have you done with your useless life?
@Robyn Hackney I agree,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mr. Shiffman is a "funny" guy. There is indeed something very funny about him. As there was with Herr von Papen.
@@richardschiffman9898 bro, he opposed Weimar Republic and supported Hitler.
No, he didnt. He hated Hitler very much(from 1935) as Vice-Chancellor.
