Everyone knows that bran is already the "Chosen One" his reply will always be something that makes him a loser, he is not doing this on purpose. As he cares about everyone and he does question the point of living. he also knows that who all are sinners and who has pride and despite that he hides all those things to himself. He is being rude here, because he is being praised. He is always in moral dilemma, you can't give him work, the reason is, his family plays a major role in re-building the planet. Even if others think that he is a GOD or DEVIL, He doesn't pride himself ,he pretends to think that he is plotting something but in reality he is only looking into his visions at all sorts of situations to know how it will play out and the surroundings themselves help him to give signals, it could be anything, a leaf, stone, an animal ,then he will connect it to his family's attributes. From the back of his mind he knows that he can't take a role anymore. He is basically an EMPTY SHELL with limitless possibilities. He also knows that if he takes something that section will become a living hell and the main players of the other section becomes a losing ground. If someone like TOMMEN was still alive in his Kingdom then bran would have relaxed and helped TOMMEN by giving his word to him, he could have been his close ally along with Jon Snow like bran would have shared his personal opinions to him, since he does know that tommen is the perfect voice for his visions like his other hand.
