Having owned this for 9 months now I like it more each day. Great tones, easy to adjust parameters to my needs, and very durable for road use. I also like the ability to upload and download things from the headrush Cloud.
Ya, I cannot agree more. I was a vintage gear snob like 7 months ago, and I now use this daily. I also made a patch that is just pedals, so i can use it with my vintage gear and amps. My favorite musical toy. Everything on it sounds superb and authentic. They nailed it on this one
After trying the helix Lt at the guitar center, after watching all comparisons and all youtube videos and reading all reviews online... i knew helix is great coz im a former hd500 user and i love it. But i went decided buying the headrush coz it saves my time and time is gold. Its quicker to program sounds specially when u r onstage playing, you can make a quick change if you want. Helix and headrush are both good... i just need an easier interface. 👍🏼 actually i bought a helix bag for my headrush
I've got a question about the tail spill over. In the manual it says "This feature is unavailable if you are using an effects loop or if you are using USB audio. " What does it mean? Does it mean that if you insert an external pedal through fx loop, the tail cut off when the delay/reverb turned off or when changing preset to preset?
Saw a few videos where the unit stopped working and the company didn't respond to the warranty request because it was shipped to a different country from Daltons. I'll wait.
4:36 ya if that feature wasnt there(adding 2 amps one on left and other on right).. something would be wrong, pedalboards with 10 years old do that or even blending 2 amps together..i dont know about this pedalboard, unsure if to buy it or not
How well can the Headrush do 80's tones? White lion, firehouse, XYZ type tones. Going to get a Helix LT, but kind of getting interested in this unit. Price point is a lot better!
M James. Headrush can do all those 80' s tones you desire and more, not to mention it is less complicated to use than the Helix lt, and about the same price IMO. However the choice is yours.
Nice, does the mastervolume make sure that the volume stays the same when jumping though presets? I intend to use it live and connect direct to the PA and want to avoid volume changes when switching.
vriendelijkegroet it has an output section. When you setup a patch, you double click on the output button. You play a bit and set the output using the meters. If you do this every time, all your patches will be the same volume.
Questions: 1. Is there (will there be) a pc-based editor like there was with the 11R? (Hopefully without the rage-inducing iLok h0rlsh!t. 2. How easy is it to rearrange the pre-sets to conform to a set list?
Mike Austin you don't really need a computer based editor, it's so easy to do it on the board! Setting up set lists is a doodle. You just drag n drop :)
I actually love that there isn’t a computer editor. Keeps you from being forced into “install on computer / lug computer / fix driver issues / os not supported” etc 👌🏻🌹
Darren Turner and that’s your opinion. They are already going for $749 used a GC. So I think I’m on point with my assumption. www.guitarcenter.com/Used/In-Store-Used/Used-Eleven-Headrush-Effect-Processor.gc?cntry=us&source=4WWMWXGP&gclid=CjwKCAjw-6bWBRBiEiwA_K1ZDWsJMBsHJvU5xONESCl5F1FOH6R6Txm6aTAzipUNuBdqu39KM3kqvBoCjf4QAvD_BwE&kwid=productads-adid%5E221116235902-device%5Em-plaid%5E359652447825-sku%5E113956708@ADL4GC-adType%5EPLA
Darren Turner well what are you arguing for? That was the point of my first comment...LMAO:) You just confirmed it by your last comment. You must not be very bright bro. You must just like to argue or disagree with people for the sake of just doing it. #trolling
I have an Eleven Rack and one of the reasons I bought it is that in a comparison YT video by David Walliman of the Axe Fx II, Axe Fx, and an Eleven Rack, the Eleven Rack sounded the most natural, and a plurality of the viewers of the video agreed. And, I bought the Eleven for $300, 1/7th the price of the Fractal units and 1/5 the price of the Helix (which I think sounds harsh and metallic). The 11R has been out for 10 years now and it's still selling because in bang for the buck it's one of the best deals out there.

Jadam Pascual. Headrush also comes with a traveling bag, and an extention speaker cab now on sale.

bbuteo buy it, it's awesome!
which is better this or boss GT 1000?
paused the video. did you record a loop and set up a rig with it? what a brilliant idea.

Can also do even 60s or 70s
M James. That is your choice but the Headrush is easier to use, and the amp models also sound more realistic.

Darren Turner unlike the hd300.
Urite Imwrong I don't have any experience with that unit :/
How about just playing some of the presets . After all this i still have no idea what the amps sound like .
How do you get rid of the FIZZ
I think it's the headrush thing. Unlike helix, you'll experience fizz.
Reduce the gain on the ‘amp’. All digital modelers will fizz on overly gained tones.

good review, ummm... wished you would've played more patches, ummm... glad I found this review, ummm... very helpful. Thanks.
Ummmmmm.... Thanks ;-)
This unit could be great but this guy doesn’t have a clue
Another overpriced gimmicky and fizzy sounding FX board that will be up on Craigslist in 2 years or so for 1/4 of the original $1000 price....LMAO:)
harleyrider916 yeah, except that you're wrong :)

harleyrider916 er, anything you buy second hand is going to be cheaper than a new one! So what's your point?
