Do you speak Japanese or understand basic Japanese enough to follow the MC without subtitles? It would be kind of hard to do a call & response if you lack the language ability. It's part of the fun to do the call & response with them! I'm jealous of you, I wish I could go for AX to see them too.
Potastic Fansubs I only took a first level Japanese course so my Japanese isn't too great, but I'll try to learn all the call and responses by the time of the concert. I totally know what you mean though, I'm super suuuper pumped for the Aqours call and responses.
They were actually really surprised at how many of us at AX knew the call and responses already. In my opinion, it was a better crowd than the Momoiro Clover Z concert at AX previously, and the crowd is almost as much of the experience as the idols themselves. JUNNA and Minori saying they liked In N Out was afreakingdorable, and WuGs' reaction to the crowd's unexpectedly quick responsiveness was great too.
I found the girls more approachable and likable. Though the show can be better, but i find the walkure live more enjoyable than frontier. My point of view.
yes, the past Macross idols is treated as a diva, Minmay, Wendy Ryder, Ranka and Sheryll, even Sharon Apple is a goddess that no one is able to approach (excpt if you are the main chara lol) the Walkure in the other hand, is personification of current trend in Japanese idol, approachable and very down to earth
Chances? Yes, I would love to do that portion, anytime soon? Nope because it's just out recently and I want to let people buy the BLURAY to support so I won't be subbing it until perhaps next year.

Japanese really love to add suffix/prefix on anything(including on nickname). many nicknames just come from that, but many with purpose to(like rieshon/murakawa rie because of her reaction, or minoringo/suzuki minori because frejya loves apple). cmiiw
Delta was even shittier than Frontier, and it takes alot to achieve that. That was really disappointing. Even the girls never shod their generic idol image. I'm still disappointed since I like (old) macross very much, even more than gundam. But that's not the girls fault.
