    It would be nice to see the lads using the slow sinking bomb and and slow sinking feeder at this venue. These methods are working fantastically well at Hayton lakes and Bankend for good sized F1's and the odd carp.
    Andy May would be in his element doing this as you feed loads of micro's in the feeder while pinging pellets at the same time.
    The bites can be savage!

    Brilliant video, this insight would have surely got me more fish the other day during the match.. Which size / type of foam wagglers would you reccomend as i'm only having the Matrix Pellet Waggler floats?

    I've not tried the Pellet Waggler before so i'm going to try it this year but wondered. Do you use a floating line or sinking one? Thanks

    Great video! How is Jamie using a foam waggler that he can change in size / weight with just line stops on the line and no weight? Are the foam wagglers pre-loaded versions? Cheers

      Some have an insert depending on brand, most are loaded though yes

    2 questions Pellet size 6mm 8mm? and the Pellets straight out the bag or with oil on?

    • @WinningWays
      @WinningWays  Рік тому +3

      Depends on size of fish and distance for size, and no oil as it would make them sink quicker which you don’t want for fishing shallow

    Hi. Stupid questions incoming but can i ask do you need to plumb up with pellet waggler and if not what length do you have hook from float?
    Also do you need dropper shot is weight if pellet enough?
    Many thanks

    • @WinningWays
      @WinningWays  8 місяців тому

      No shots needed, obviously it pays to know the rough depth you are fishing in, if you know the lakes 12ft deep it will be a bit different to a 4ft lake.
      But hooklengths are dictated by either the depth the fish are feeding, this can change during the day so longer the hooklength the deeper you are fishing. Or you may want a long hooklength if they are spooking of the splash of the float, which can happen.
      2-3ft is probably a good starting length but be prepared to play around.

    Why do you 2 (and some others) use keepnets when there is absolutely no need to?

    • @WinningWays
      @WinningWays  Рік тому +1

      Just so we can get shots at the end, when we film it's only an hour or two for each video so they are in there way less time than a match situation (and a lot less fish). Obviously all Ok'd by venue owners.

      @@WinningWays oh ok, it's just that I've never seen you showing what you've caught at the end, except in the challenges that is, which are hilarious by the way, long may they continue. Excellent.

    I like your channel but don't you get bored of catching the same fish over and over again , please do some videos on natural hard waters .

      We just do the fishing we enjoy, we’ve covered most species at some point but obviously the majority of our time is spent making match content 👍🏻
