Nogle heste har ikke svært ved at lære at changere, men for rigtig mange kan øvelsen hurtigt udvikle sig til et smertensbarn i hestens uddannelse. Følger man dressurprogrammernes rækkefølge, så skal hesten først lære kontragalop før changementer, men Nathalie gør det omvendt.

Some horses don’t find the flying change difficult to do, but for most, the exercise can quickly turn into a problem in the horse’s education. If you follow the levels of the dressage tests, the horse must learn to do counter-canter before the flying change, but Nathalie does it the other way around.
