- IT SNOWED! This video lets you join us on our experience through bulgaria, we came here for bens birthday. When arriving there was no snow due to global warming. This put a huge block on our holiday as without snow you can't ski! We were extremely eager to get on the slopes and in part 2 you can see that we managed to get the skis on and get skiing because it snowed. While most of it was fake snow we made the most of it! Even by being a bit naughty and going down some slopes when it was advised not too, testing our skills.
If your thinking of coming to bulgaria then we hope our 3 part vlog show you everything you need to know. The slopes are great for beginners with bigger slopes for the more advanced.
Sadly we were unable to enjoy the slopes of Borovets Bugaria at there best because of the conditions but e had a amazing time and we hope you enjoyed joining us on our holiday!

I went to Borovets twice this year (February & March) and the snow conditions were absolute SHITE.
Only half of the resort was open and almost all snow was artificial. Top mountain doesn't have any snow making machines like Bansko does, so everyone just skied those 4-5 slopes in front of Rila Hotel and 2 red slopes on Yastrebets.
Kinda fail, but at least it was better than staying at home and doing nothing.
Yesterday I bought a new board and now I am watching your vlog, praying for more snow this year...

What month did you go? I go the second week of January and praying for snow! 😂
We went in January, how was you ski holiday I hope there was snow for you :) There was a lack of snow in many places last year unfortunately :(
Guys, seriously, don’t fuck about with a third world resort. Mayrhofen in Austria or anywhere in Austria and Val Thorens in France will not disappoint. Go for it. 👊
