Will McClendon averaged 4.1 points while playing 21.1 minutes per game during the 2023-24 season; he didn't really live up to expectations. I hope Adem Bona returns to UCLA; my only concern is that an NBA team might be willing to draft Adem in the first round given his tremendous potential. Go Bruins!
If we can keep the roster as is right now. It’s a solid roster. Starters: Dylan, Skyy, Kobe, Berke, Bona Bench: Mack, Vide, Aday, B Williams, and Lazar. That’s pretty good
Losing Fibleuil is going to hurt I believe. This was one of my biggest arguments with Cronin. Fibleuil is one of the only ones along with Mack that played well in limited minutes when we played Gonzaga, but after that Cronin did not give him any minutes which I thought was a bad decision given the other options.
Basketball: Unimpressed. Clark is a mercenary and Johnson is a trOJan. Football: Schlee is one helluva runner and could have been utilized but this may mean Martin moves up among the QBs.
Shameful. Clark was addition by subtraction with Illinois. Best recruit left, and they thrived with him leaving. Played no defense and constant lackadaisical effort for Kenny Payne. Sad to see UCLA running players off and bringing in mercenaries in order to win. Program is not a blue blood with regard to wins and championships since Wooden. But at least they maintained some integrity. Administration put its foot down to bringing in players like D'Angelo Collins, Renaldo Sidney, Evan Burns. May as well call UCLA UNLV. Shameful. Cronin was rightfully bragging last season to not having a team full of mercenaries like many programs. Decided to hold down the road of disgust. Taking a USC Trojan? Wow. Just no principles at all.
Let's just kick our uber-talented 4⭐️ recruit out the door and pretend we got better. Watch KY or CT land Ilan and actually let him play. Coach Mick! What are you doing?
Basketball: I thought Fibliel had potential but Cronin seemed to relegate him to the bench. McClendon certainly tried but this looks like a good decision for him.
I'm a USC fan, and like Kobe alot. He is a great kid, and team player. However, I am not sure what the hype is about. He was merely a role player at USC and a few decent games. I think once his college career is over, he will be completely forgotten.
Kobe Johnson will be the Jalen Clark of UCLA
Ucla just got better as a team with skyy Clark and also kobe Johnson transfer from USC.. let's go Bruins....

Skyy can be good but will need to improve his consistency for UCLA to thrive.

Bro Kobe Johnson is a solid player, literally who cares if he came from usc

jan vide next?
Jan vide has soo much potential as a pg. It would suck to see him leave
Agree wholeheartedly with Yoxsy. Trojans scored with this hire.
