- Remember when you were new to buying guns? We've all been there, and made mistakes. Today, Chris and Jake each come up with their version of the perfect gun collection for $2000. And then a stranger must decide who did it best. Thanks to Gallenson's for letting us raid your space. Also thanks to one of our favorite UA-camrs @TeddyBaldassarre for the idea

Sly Tactical slings: 1911syndicate (saves you 15% on our favorite slings) - Розваги
You know your local gun store is well stocked when you have to climb over ammo pallets just to get what you need. 😂
At 6 min 35 seconds for reference.
lol
bro has a forklift for stocking ammo! I'm jealous
Hard to sell it when its cheaper online lol
Pretty sure it’s the oldest gun shop in Utah
For new shooters, practicality is 100% the motivating factor. Chris is the clear winner. I'd buy land from him any day. At this point, Jake's judgement is so questionable I have doubts that he's getting himself dressed in the morning.
Well, Finn is his primary carer. Jake is highly regarded.
@@handroids1981 what's "finn"?
@@Auggie_93 Finn is his Belgian Melanois.
chris went for the obvious choices and jake went for video entertainment
It’s video entertainment. Obviously if both are going for practicality it would be a boring video, glocks and ARs as far as the eye can see. The contrast is what makes the video fun to watch.
Without the Oakley’s and with the trimmed beard, Chris looks like the neighbor you ask to help you move something because he’ll totally accept payment in pizza and beer.
Jake on the other hand, is the guy you don’t sit next to in the bar because you know he’s got conspiracy theories for days. 😂
But in all seriousness, you guys have become my favorite guntuber channel. Keep up the good work!
Hahahahaha. Too good
😂😂😂😂 you hit those descriptions perfectly. Thank you for watching homie
I would love to see variations of this premise turned into a series: same thing with a bigger or smaller budget, best tactical loadout for $2k, best collection that includes a 1911, etc.
Oh dude. We are planning on a couple different variations and your right on track dude 👊🏼 thanks for watching
This is would’ve been my pick:
Glock 43X MOS: $500
Streamlight TLR7: $120
Holosun 507: $180
Holster: $50
Ruger AR: $500
Sig Romeo 5 red dot: $120
Streamlight Pro Tac WML: $115
Sling: $15
Extra Mags: $50
Mossberg Shockwave: $400
Grand Total: $1950
Thats... actually really good. I shall go to their site and play this game.
That's a decent list for 2015 pricing but in the current market I want to see receipts where you can regularly find those guns for that cheap.
As someone with access to current dealer pricing your list is far from reality as no dealer is going to sell guns below cost to you.
@@tucknroll8057 a quick Google and you can find a glock 43x Mos for under $500, idk where the ruger is $500, but if you want an AR at that price you can grab a PSA, and the Shockwave can be found for about $500 as well. So realistically this load out could probably be built for pretty close to 2000. You'd likely have to choose a different Ad though.
If you go with used guns these prices are achievable at least where I live. Hell the guy in the video got the Ruger AR for $450. If you’re just starting no need to get everything brand new getting something that high quality reliable and used is good enough. Though I will admit I have no idea how much a mossberg shockwave costs.
@@darkcircle899just looked at one that was $399
Knowing each other well enough to be able to accurately predict what the other will choose is priceless entertainment.
This is a fun challenge. I put this together on PSA’s site fast & super easy.
1) PSA PA-15 M4 carbine w/BUIS similar price to the Ruger = $520
2) Beretta APX optic ready = $480*
3) Mossberg Maverick 88 security 18.5” pump 12ga = $250
4) Ruger Mark IV 22/45 .22lr pistol = $400
5) Holosun HE403r red dot (Sig Romeo5 similar price, suit yourself) = $150
*This equals $1800 BUT Beretta has a $100 factory rebate on APX till year end.
So you are at $1700 for 4 essential firearms with optic and iron sights. That leaves $300 for 2 slings, 2 more APX mags, 5 plus AR mags, and a kydex holster for the APX…and eye/ear pro…all totally doable with $300. I just picked PSA website randomly, i don’t usually shop there but I figured they had everything I wanted in stock in one place. I am sure you could find these prices anywhere else, this is just to illustrate a point.
I think I’d pick this list over the others, what say you? I enjoyed the video.
Good choices!
get a 500 instead of the maverick
Also great picks
Seemed fun, here's mine with ammo instead of a 22lr
Remington 870 Express Pump Shotgun - $460
18.5" Barrel, 6 Shot Capacity
25rd Winchester 2.75" 9 Pellet 00 Buckshot (5 cases, 5 shells) - $39.95
$499.95
PSA Blem Stripped Lower - $49.99
Blem PSA 5.56 Full Rifle Kit:
16" Barrel, M-LOK Handguard, Magpul Moe Stock/Pistol Grip, all internals - $419.99
Blackhawk! QD Rifle Sling - $21.99
Streamlight Protac Rifle Light/Tapeswitch - $119.99
Vortex Strikfire II Red Dot, 10 Magpul PMAGs - $229.99 bundle
240rd Winchester 55g M193 5.56 (20 rd, 12 cases) - $143.88
$985.72
Glock 19 Gen 3 - $499.00
3 15rd OEM Mags (1 included w/ pistol) - $45.98
Glock Sport/Duty 4.5" Holster - $15.99
200rd AAC 124g FMJ 9mm (100rd, 2 cases) - $53.98
$614.95
At some point I fucked the math a little and added ~$100, but total was $2,100.62. You could take off the rifle light or some of the ammo, but still a great little setup that will fill basically 95% of what most brand new gun owners would want/need.
$2k (Range USA Pricing)
Canik TP9SA Mod 2 - $379.99
Streamlight TLR 7a - $169.99
ZPAP M70 - $1049.99
Midwest Yugo Optic mount - $168.99
Holosun 403 BGR Elite - $199.99
2 AK PMag @ $15.15 - $30.30
Total = $1999.25
Canik comes with holster & 2 mags
Hey not bad at all
For sure better options than Jake 😂
Canik is by far the way to go I love mine
I have Canik and love it. Not sure if you can call it a holster.
That Indiana Jones joke was hysterical, even Jake laughed lol 😂
Lol
😂😂😂😂
Jake buys a $2,000 1911 and Chris buys a variety of guns. LOL
Now I wish I had done that
@@1911syndicate To be completely honest, I thought you would go that route. But the VP9 was still a great choice.
We need a series with this. 2k, 4k,..10k
Right! Run it up to $30k with night set ups
I saw a couple different ones, I am watching the $3000 one next
$450 for a ruger mpr is a freaking bargain right there
Right and this was only a month ago too, I’d buy just for being that cheap if I ran up on it.
For real, i got mine for $1400ish, i was in shock when i heard $450
@@notagt4103bruh 😮
Best. Video. Ever. Chris won on practicality but Jake won the cool factor.
And I won on rifle mag pouch
I’m SO PUMPED for this series!
Grab some rice
That “AK mag pouch” threw it over the top for me. Pure comedy with a clear winner, and I don’t even like Glocks.
Tonight on 1911 Syndicate: Chris exposes his neck to the sun for the first time in 20 years, Jake climbs into Ammo Fort, and Tim wasn't given enough alcohol to deal with the crew chasing chaos in his store....
He loved it. Probably
@@1911syndicate Did you nap in Ammo Fort?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
You should definitely do more videos like this with different budgets for different scenarios. $1k CCW load out all the way up to $10k full kit for example. Loved it. It’s not always what you pick but how you think about what you pick. It would be cool to have judges that are experts in the particular load out scenarios.
That’s the plan!
Jake won me over with the VP9. Chris, if you chose the PDP, you’d walked away with my vote. As always worth every moment to watch, very different to the typical 1911Syndicate theatrical productions. You had me in stitches a couple of times. 😂😂
My fully kitted out MP5 with suppressor was like 5 grand 😂 With that said, I have a fully built Aero AR15 that was like $700 and it is genuinely incredible.
My sp5 with the A3 stock alone is like 5k Lmao
Yeah i bet lol. Let me guess you hold a class 3.
Chris is a solid dude. Never met Jake, but this was a good video to show people they don’t need to go crazy to get a decent set up that will fill multiple roles.
Literally planned my scheduled service on my car at 4pm so I could watch this while I wait😅. Have a great Laborday boys.
Lol I love it
Yeassss that’s awesome. Have a great weekend and Labor Day yourself sir thanks for watching
I'm about to become a gun owner after watching videos for years now and finally being in an state that allows me to exercise the 2A without so many restrictions. this video was both informative and funny. Really enjoyed it!
Congrats!
right on! it’s going to be a hole you will never climb out of and your finances will suffer but it will be totally worth it.
Watching Jake sip that haterade from the sidelines while Chris did the best sales pitch of his youtube career was excellent
Dude asks the gun shop:
“Glock 19’s got any?”
Employee: “……the most popular pistol today….. yeah I think we have a few over there”😂
Jake- this is a knee pad for taking a knee”
Chris- ya know what else those are good for right?… performing felatio on people…
That made me burst out laughing.
This was hilarious. Jake busting out the leather pouch. Then Chris “Taliban uses the same shit” 🤣😂
This was good! Definitely looking forward to this being a ongoing series. Have to admit, Jake kind of sold me on the AK, but the accessory choices killed it lol.
Keeping up with the Syndicate > Keeping up with the Kardashians. This video feels like a reality TV show.
Thank you
Hahahaha that’s awesome. 😂
Chris without his Oakley’s reminds me of high school GF’s father. Scary looking. Keep them on!!
Creepy eyes
I look bad without shades? You have seen Jake’s creepy beady little eyes right?
24:24 Basketball shorts, the wife beaters, the sneaks, the cut 😂.
Canik tp9sf elite -$385 , EAA Churchill 612 12 gauge $295 , radical firearms rpr-15 $450 , girsan 1911 .45 $565 , sig Sauer Romeo red dot $125 =$1,825 plus more room for accessories
We need Challenge #2!
“What do you mean real” 😂 these dudes are funny as hell
I think what we need now is a demonstration of these gun collections. I would love to see a training course with different scenarios using the collection they picked out. 😅
ToP bErEtTa SaLeSmAn🥴 much love Liam 😂 How's Vanessa treating you?😂
i just found these guys and i love them. the way they talk to each other is hilarious. keep up the great work fellas.
Thanks for the kind words sir we appreciate you 👊🏼👊🏼
Awesome video , looking forward to this becoming a series 👏
This was fun to watch! Accessories and mags are important considerations.
Love this premise. You guys have done it the best so far. Subscribed. Keep it up!
🤙🏻
This is a great idea, but I think it should have been two videos. One being a 2k collection and the other being a 2k loadout, because what appeals as a collection != something that appeals as a load out. Although trying to balance the two is interesting.
This was freaking great! I almost never laugh this hard at UA-cam content. Thank you guys so much for taking the time to put this kind of effort into entertaining us.
I'd have gone with a nice Walther PDP Compact and an IWI Zion 15 with a rds, flashlight, and sling. Probably two of the best guns you could get for starting your firearms collection.
Awesome guys, what a fun video, a breath of fresh air, please do more like this!
Chris wins hands down, it's not even close. I question whether or not Jake to this seriously. 🤔
They were just havent fun, theyre both smart dudes who know their stuff, i think Jake was clearly playing around. I would have made the exact same firearm choices as Chris but im not gonna lie, wise move from Jake on the H&K. I much prefer the P30 to the VP9 but H&Ks are phenomenal. On the other hand, Glock may be “boring” and plain but they’re stupid reliable and i trust my life to one every single day.
Good work Boys! Quite enjoyable. Rock on Chris... nice attempt Jake. HA!!
Gallensons... best gun store ever!!! Really enjoying the 4.25" Python that you hooked my wife up for me bday. I truly intend to buy all of my future firearms from y'all. Stay frosty!
This is really awesome. Love to think about this stuff - budgets and what you can get for it
The VP9 was my first pistol and it was some of the best bang for the buck at the time. Learned on it and it's kept up with me from beginner shooter to advanced shooter.
VP9 was my first firearm I owned legally as an adult
I’d probably get a psa lower and upper with a sig red dot and a light with a sling, psa dagger with optics cut and a light, a maverick 88 shotgun, a ruger 10/22, 4 pistol mags, 7 ar mags, a descent holster, a descent chest rig, and and a bag. You would have preletty much all your bases covered.
This was a really fun video. Keep them coming.
This episode was really fun
Liam, Gene, Milo, Cliff, Tim... the whole crew at Gallenson's is awesome. 10/10.
Guys, seriously, you knocked this one out of the park. Loved this
Thanks dude we will be doing some more of them with rule changes and budget changes
Thank you guys for another good video 👍🏻
Genuinely loved and enjoyed this. The banter and competition was amazing.
@21:29 when Liam looks at the camera after Jake says, "this is a techniclip" 😂😂😂😂
He just lacked the vision to understand the brilliance
@@1911syndicate Jake you make a hilarious straight man to Chris' griftiness. This shit had me rolling and shocked you didn't have so many outtakes. Had The Office vibes all over it with your cringe build.
This is a fun game. So for my list I looked at the featured brands that Gallenson’s site showed and made my selections off of that, using Classic Firearms inventory. That being said outside of the AR I would have rather gone with a Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport 2, but I couldn’t find one in stock. That being said I don’t hate the Bushmaster, I think it’s a solid rifle and has all the upgraded touch points that I think one would want. However, it’s like $150 more than I’d personally spend. I also think for a new shooter a 22lr is an absolute must have. Their excellent for practice and ammo is cheap. That being said you could drop that and make room for better rifle optics, more mags, or light options.
Taurus TX22 - $282
CS USA P-10C - $437
Holosun 407C - $245
Bushmaster QRC II Pro - $830
Holosun 403R - $180
Total: $1,947
I love these types of series videos yall do.
Chris picked out a sling but no way to mount it.
You can just run the sling around the had guard and the back part goes through cut outs in the stock. No mounting solutions needed
Oh you just caught him in his lies
Awesome vid guys. Def should do another one.
I love this video idea. This is a much more fun way to tackle the topic.
We think so bro. Thank you for watching and enjoying the new series 👊🏼
Commenting twice because that's how good this video was. Please keep this vibe!
Dwyer's Irish-ness and Blau's German-ness on full display.
Jake's accessories are the results of a drunk ebay shopping binge, while Chris' picks are the results of a carefully selected planning session with timing the purchases with discount codes found through much searching...
😂😂😂😂😂 best comment ever
I look forward to more head to heads like this! May be a 10 grand, four gun set up! Base home defense.
“It’s tough, it’s tough”.
No it’s not. I KNEW Jake would blow it.
Bragging Rights Chris; worth mo than money.
Fun Vid! Happy Labor Day boys.

P322 with cheap can for plinking and “discreet ops”. (Similar size to macro)

Thanks for the kind words and for watching sir👊🏼
Yes I have a High Point in 45.....you cant get anymore fudd then that..Great video!
Jake really out there trying to sell an IED with a side of HK. Sorry, but I prefer my AK's not to explode. Gonna have to go with Chris on this one as much as I hate Glock lol.
Booooooo
IED with a side of HK😂😂😂😂
First time on this channel. This was very entertaining and had me in stitches a few times 😂
Welcome to the party
Very entertaining video! Loved it!
Jake is definitely going over budget and i love it!!! 💪🏼

This was hilarious and insightful. Awesome job. I don’t know if I would have been able to do that on the fly. I’m sure I would have forgotten something.
That was fun and I could totally see it done again in different gun shops.
That’s the idea 👍🏻
Loved it! That said, predictable choices and outcome. I would have picked Chris’s load out, too. Good job! 👏

Chris wins by 6 bus lengths.
I don't think I've ever seen Chris without sunglasses.
When Jake pulled out that mag holder, i lost it 😂 & the techa clip lmao
The mag carrier was brilliant

Mortal enemies. But best friends haha

Other benefit to the AR would be variety of usability and calibers, ranging from 22lr and .410 shotshell up to .50 Beowulf. Longer "dmr" style uppers or paperwork and a shorty and everything in between all with just two pins and you can maintain a zeroed optic on each.
Loved this episode. I'd do stuff different as everyone else. Probably for the money .hellcat pro with accessories kit for 630. Like 5mags gun carrier bag etc. Y'all said for a new carrier and you used someone who worked in the store. Glock 19, shadow systems foundation mr920. Lots of mags . I like the ar they chose. Guns knives . 😮 lots of fun .
