Great review. I have been using it for 4 months, it remains my top pick for travel vlogging. I am thrilled with the innovative features it provides and I will take it with me for my Japan trip in April.
Great video. Do you prefer the Ace Pro or the X3? I know they are a different sort of thing. I have an X3 and struggle with how long it takes to edit. My videos can be pretty long. I’m looking for a second camera after my GoPro 8 gave up on me. I’ve heard this camera can have issues focussing on faces when talking to camera. Did you find this at all? Thanks
Tell me please: Which adapter should I choose to charge this insta360 Ace Pro camera? Should the output voltage be 5V and the output current 3A or less?
There are several built in 'Luts' and color modes in this camera, default mode does over saturate a bit not no different then GoPro's default mode which has this weird yellow tinge. I shoot mostly in Flat mode and it's more natural in color, if i need to post color grade, I can still do that.
@@MiyagisRant I get that. It was a critique of the colour grade rather than the camera. I've seen other reviews look much less saturated in their videos. This reminds me of when I was colour grading on an older monitor which couldn't display reds very well. When I look back at that old work on my new monitor it looks garish as hell since I was boosting my reds into oblivion to compensate for a cheap monitor.
@@ArcanePath360 Yah, I've had this camera for about 4 months, and tbh, it's quite impressive and I have all the 3 brands, this is my go to camera and my DJI A4 is it's partner. I've been grading for years and it's nice to have a camera where I don't have to do post most times. It's nice to now have two cameras that can be useful when the sun goes down, opens up a whole new shooting environment.

one of the best reviews I've seen on the ace pro, so many details that nobody talked about. Thanks Mark!

Bump this same question. I have the x3 and its great until you need to actually export a clip and need to edit.

@@MiyagisRant Must admit the low light looks impressive.
Super cool
great
One thing never mentioned. It requires "activation" to use. In other words Insta360 follows users.
Well, if that wasnt a 'product supplied' review
