These seem to be very detailed steps, however none of these option are available when I select export on my LR version.

i can only find lightroom, where do i get LightRoom Clasic, I'm trying to tether.

On your creative cloud app, you have "Lightroom", "Lightroom web" and "Lightroom Classic". You can try to find it using the searching bar.
