The most interesting thing about Mona Lisa to me is that it appears very dull due to many years of old varnish that have been added over the years. The Louvre could clean it and remove the varnish to restore it's original look. However it would look very different from how we now think of the painting. The appearance is iconic in and of itself. You should check out the Prado Mona Lisa. That is an identical painting that was made at the same time either by Di Vinci or one of his students that has been cleaned and it is amazingly vivid. It gives us a good idea of what the Mona Lisa would look like if it was ever restored and cleaned.
As a girl who hasn’t been able to find any other girls to spend time with in my town, your gentle kind energy healed and quieted that sadness while I watched. It feels like having a gal pal with me chatting and inviting each other into our lives. So sweet and calming ❤
@@ASMRAlise ok, hear me out on this (even though this comment is a week old) what if you make a video translating Japanese to English? You could rack up alot of Japanese viewers. If you make this a series, some of them could listen to your English videos while knowing some words. This could possibly be the push you need to get near or to 100k subs!!!
This feels like ADHD The Immersive Experience 😂 As a fellow artist it's wild to hear someone else verbalize my exact internal monolog as I work on a new project, I love it!!
“Ahh finally moved to Japan and away from that weird art girl.....”hi do you remember me?” “Ah shit” but seriously I do like this series and hopefully you’ll continue to make more in the future.
this help so much that you like just post this because I've been kinda bad these few weeks with homework and just personal stress in general and I've been so tired so this helps so much thank you! Have a great day/ night .🥰💗
Amazing video! Your voice is so calming! You should consider making a video based mostly on visual triggers and soft-spoken whispering, like some sort of Reiki session. I imagine that you would do a great job with that!
Just letting you know the difference between a water lily and a lily pad, the water lily is the actual flower while the lily pad is the actual green floaty thing (only if you wanted to know the difference)
I actually much prefer the Mona Lisa to The Scream. But the greatest painter has to be Rembrandt. He is WAY out there as the most impressive for me. With honorable mentions to Velasquez and Goya as well
Can a mispronunciation be called adorable? The word has a "cute" vibe. Munch. Munching. The munchies. Makes the correct one sound haughty. Fun fact: One of his descendants have been on a bit of a crusade to correct both our national broadcasting corporation and the Munch museum. He wants them to pronounce the name how he argues the artist himself preferred it, with a clean /u/ (a bit like the oo in book) rather than the "simple" /o/ most Norwegians would use. What everyone agrees on however is the ending, which is more like the /ŋk/ in plank than the /ntʃ/ in staunch. If he really cared as much about the pronunciation of his surname as his descendant claims, he must have been spinning in his grave when you said that. As for me, I just got a smile and a laugh out of it, nicely complementing the chill vibes from the rest of the video. Thank you for making these, really like your style.
the next video in this series(?) I have a feeling that she's going to build a fortress completed with a dungeon, a feast hall, a torture room and a room specifically for tea breaks (I'm british if there isn't any tea I cannot legally nor morally support/talk about it) using our help and I cannot see it going any other way if something else happens I'm going to be so unbelievably enraged that words could not begin to describe the amount of damage I shall cause this diseased space rock
Sooo, you're turning the viewer into Lady Lisa Del Giocondo of Florence. Wife of Lord Francesco del Giocondo, and mother of five children, whom Leonardo da Vinci was commissioned to fo a portrait of, but never quite finished. What an interesting and soothing ASMR.
This is only related to fact its Mona Lisa, but. I was looking at the amazon list for things you are going to buy, and my parents have the poster of Kermit Mona Lisa I have in MY list, on there.
You had an emo phase?? We need photographic proof! :D Also, you sounded genuinely miffed about The Scream painting. You sure this wasn't a real assignment?
It’s funny that you post this, cause for the last few weeks, I’ve been making a joke painting of me as the Mona Lisa😭 Edit: I finished it today, for anyone curious
The Mona Lisa is a commissioned portrait of Lady Lisa Del Giocondo, a noblewoman of Florence, and mother of five kids. It is possible Davinci's rumored male lover Salai could have inspired him while he was painting her. Though.
