8 months ? let's not exagerate it, just with the guild shops alone it take less. But yeah some months for sure (with some celest/hypo release in between that will be skipped sadly)

@@Mr7suna2 months from arena to get 1 copy if hit pity, 1 month to get a copy from guild shop and a few pulls from emporium. Calculate the number of dupes you need to m+, it might seem like an over exaggeration but it's pretty close to 6-8 months depending on where you're standing.
Exactly, a game that requires you to c6 to compete or use the unit.
@@aya5074 you need 8 copies. it take a bit less than a month to get 30000 guild coins. so with guild shop alone it take around 6-7 months.

@@Zenon1_ Having it once is useless. So far most units are usable only at M+. Maxing it is taking it at Supreme+ and that is a comfort, not a necessity.
Don't know how long you have been playing the game but everyone knows this. You can count on one hand what units are usable at 1 copy.
Talene is in arena even at one copy usefull. Maybe she's decent even as a single copy

@@djhokage1 I won't say it is recycled. You see, AFK Journey does have some oc, but of course, since they're from the same world, we're gonna see characters from past games. Just like we can find in many other games, such as:
• Legends of Runeterra and League of Legends
• Dota and WoW
• Honkai Star Rail and Honkai Impact 3rd.
They're in the same universe. For me though, I think Journey is pretty cool! I love the map exploration, I love the new designs it got, their new art style and so on. The only thing I do miss is that they could've done a new open world RPG within this universe... Just like Genshin, Wuthering etc; but it is what it is.
Aesthetic design is nice. Been playing since launch and I'm only one copy from getting Reinier to m+, so if I'm lucky maybe I'll get to use her by Christmas if I'm still playing.

its so insane how many hypogeans and celestials we get in a span of 2-3 months and yet the system to acquire and build these characters still hasnt changed or even improved for F2P players. We literally just got phraesto like what? 1-2 months ago? and now were getting talene, i haven’t even got my reinier to M+ yet 💀

Hate how most of rate up normal banner are dog pills of shit, while celestial character are hype. The is the most p2w current game i know. Genshin have bad reputation for gacha and rng but at least i can beat games with 4 stars and free character amd only meed 1 copy of character
@@jackieaung4354genshin is easily the most f2p friendly gacha on the planet sadly, but that also comes with its own problems..as a whale though I do feel bad for the gap between the f2ps in the whales in this game. It’s drastic.

@@AhmadShehanshah I’ve heard good things about honkai but I don’t play it, I’ve also heard honkai has a pretty high ceiling that kinda requires major investment. I think it’s easier in to complete the end game in genshin if I’m not mistaken, correct me if I’m wrong. As for wuwa it’s still in honeymoon so I’m curious how it feels to f2p post

@asoret Even then, they cap guild coins at 7k a week, and the guild can't go beyond that, since that's the maximum they allow. And whatever you get personally? After your 7k max, it goes right to the bin

I have 2 underworlders and 2 celestials and I haven't spent a penny, do the people at Afk Journey really have no idea that undergrounds and celestials can be purchased for free by simply joining the guild, doing guild quests, collecting currency and purchasing characters from the guild store underworlders and celestials? It scares me when someone spends money on these balls,
since you can have all the characters for free.
Absolutely stunning video! Now it will cost you 8 months and $1,500 to get enough summoning crystals to draw this character. That's probably an understatement on the money since they'll make you go through other characters first.

celestial and hypogeon types are meant to be long term goals.

There is no balancing issue right now since there is no real powercreep. Take it from a VIP20.

They are not meant for players that doesn’t spent money or not spending money, they are there to discriminate the rich from the poor, you might have some really good comp that you, as a f2p, built up with countless effort

Celestial and Hypogeans are already meta lol teams with them are significjantly stronger than those without them

No matter how hard you try to defend it, it's not "a couple of months". It's literally half a year just for one. And they keep adding a new one every month. Lol
There is a reason the game is dying, and gachas that don't do this greedy stuff are going strong, making tens of millions every month.
@@Screcy The game is struggling because we have had back-to-back A class units that are niche not only in gameplay but in aesthetics as well and we had a lackluster event.
Celestials and Hypogeans have always been whale bait even in the original game. For f2p crowd they can still get those characters over time as long as they are committed to it. You aren't supposed to get every single one of them. You pick one and commit.
These types of units are how this game is going to even make a profit to keep running.
Even then the game isn't going to die you are just being a drama queen.

This is a very uneducated take by someone with 0 experience in this game genre. Gacha games stay alive and running because of low spenders and whales together. In this game if ur not a whale, u might as well be F2P cuz the difference is too big. They are majorly handicapping themselves with this business practice. Look at any big gacha game, that makes tens of millions every month, they all pander to F2p and low spenders cuz that's how u make real money on the long run. Greedy games like this die in the first year.

The game is indeed dying. This trailer has 30k views in the first 9 hours of realese. That is abysmal for a high quality trailer for a new character. And all views on their official channel have been on a downward spiral since the new Season trailer. Ulmus trailer barely hit 100k and even that was cuz it was the first new unit to come from Afk Arena. I wouldn't be surprised if Talene doesn't even reach the 100k. I would have expected her to hit at least double the Ulmus number considering he was just an A Character. But in ur opinion this character should revive the game, cuz she's not an A character XD
Not only that, check Google trends, the game has been on a downward spiral. It almost at the same level as Afk Arena and that game is 5 years old. That is very bad. Hell look at any stat u want anywhere, I'm sure it's lower that it has even been before.
