I brought another Minikani after using the one that has exceeded my expectation. These European made filters are better than those 'made in China' anytime...

@xxxflanaganxxx I always thought the floss should be at the top. Makes no sense to have the sponge at the top. the finer of the media should be last. rings at the bottom. carbon in the middle.

Dumb design why would you put the course this material top of the water goes the bottom to top that makes no sense in the finest media before the course is media that doesn't make sense

I had the Uni max 250 cannister for around 2 years and i loved it.

Good morning team Aquael. I'm from Brazil. This type of filter is not here. I've never seen. Very nice the operation and UV-C light. Various accessories. Well practice. I watch the video very nice handling. It has 4 baskets and two types of media. It comes complete for use. Congrats.

Always go mechanical 1st, biological 2nd, chemical 3rd. So sponges on the bottom, then rings(media), zeolite last

I've had the minikani 80 running for a few years now. Still working great on my 55litre aquarium with no obvious decrease in performance. Only thing I would strongly recommend would be taking out the zeolite and replacing with ceramic rings/other biological media(zeolite is really only for ammonia emergencies, not full time use) to make full use of the canister space. Nice little bit of kit.
