My favourite part of the video is the two Jolly JOS buses pulling into the Cross Roads bus terminus in front of Carib Theatre (3:40). Brings back memories of the L buses from the late 1970s.
@04.28 This was the Proper reggae music from legends in the 80's with Gregory Isaacs & Dennis Brown. Roots Rockers time the name Rodigan comes to mind.
This song was actually written by Carton "Tetrack" Hines. He is the one doing the sweet harmonies you hear in the background. Carlton "Tetrack" Hines didn't stop there. He also wrote the monster hit "Rumors" for Gregory. A good sampling of his exceptional writing skills is featured on the Dennis Brown/Gregory Isaacs album "Judge Not". Carlton wrote 5 of the 6 songs, including the classic "Deceiving Girl", expertly delivered by Dennis Brown.

Two very good examples of old school reggae but i have to say i did not like the use of electronic drums! these 2 guys are sorely missed!
That depends on what you call old school Reggae. When this came out it was all but old school.
