Got the sad news today that David Lynch died. I've been a fan of his since Eraserhead in the 70's. I've seen all his films including The elephant man, Dune, Mulholland drive, blue velvet. I recorded this jam back in August, and obviously it had to go up today as a tribute. The first half is at Canada place, the second half at waterfront. Notice his family chose to commemorate him with photos of him holding a Parker fly guitar, the exact same model and colour I’m playing in this video.
Thank you for this fantastic, respectful tribute. SO well done man. I have also been a fan of his since Eraserhead in my youth. A wonderful personality and beautiful mind has left us today. Ive been watching you for some time.,you are an awesome player and deserve to make a good living through your playing! Keep rocking my friend...
I find it touching that David Lynch appears on the picture with the same guitar you play. It's a perfect hommage instrument. I hope you are doing well and thank you for your jaw-breaking skill on the guitar. You inspired me to pick up improv. God bless.
Thanks Robin, David was an inspiration to many, Eraserhead still freaks me out and gives me nightmares. His film making was second to none. Rest in peace David, the lodge awaits us all.
This is just beautiful! I lost my dad last November & it was a double gut punch, bc he was the one i wanted to text about it😢sigh... He would always watch one of the flicks i got him, then call and ask wtf it all meant 😂 we would hit a club (when he was in between wives lol) and dance like Leland😂 I'll miss it.. all of it! 💔🔥🦉

So sorry to hear that we are not promised tomorrow and many people die in ther 40s 50s and 60s so sad our generations we get use to.tjem on our lives and when they go to.the afterlife they leave a gap void emptiness that irreplaceable but if we play our cards right we will.dee them again animals too peace to.him
Thanks for the tribute…proves you know “cool”…I’m not affected by many celebrities passing…last one to hit hard was Lou Reed…David’s time to return to the Great Lodge inside the dark woods has come…he must have important business to attend to there…
There are some short films of his on UA-cam which are worth checking out. I am planning to watch Lost Highway for the first time tonight, great Lynchian tribute Robin! 🥀🗻
That film deserved an Oscar, truly haunting and heartbreaking. Lynch is my favourite director by far, made the best tv show from the 1990s era and from the 80s to early 00s he has made some of the most iconic films!

@@charlesockholmes9764thanks. I first thought that photo was faked but he really did have a black Parker fly like mine.
@@MiamiQuasarthanks and glad you enjoyed it.
He was a rare gem and made movies and series that made you think outside the box of life (I love your tribute to him).
True!
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
@shatnershairpiece thank you. I'm sure I'll go back to this and listen to it many times.
Love the music of Twin Peaks. So sad, that David Lynch passed away. He was a genius. He will be missed.
Listen to this one & you'll understand why he can & does do this every day.

RIP David Lynch. Just watched Wild at Heart and his adaptation of Dune the other day! Master Class Level. 👍
Nailed it.. once again! Your tone and phrasing is "Top Notch" which in turn conveys your inner feeling's for the subject.
thanks. I was into it!

Lynch did some music too, I have a trippy vinyl LP by David Lynch, signed by him. He was an artist in many ways.

Twink Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway and Blue Velvet were my favorites. But I've seen all his work, even the hilarious DumbLand.
beautiful
Thank you!!
Nice.
Eraserhead is a surrealistic nightmare, but to create a nightmare like that takes genius.
Beautiful tribute.
Glad you enjoyed it
he passed away... damn, that's sad... and unexpected... god i love twin peaks :c
Did anyone in the crowd come up to you and say they thought they've heard that before?
you can see one woman tip me and say “Twin peaks! Awesome!”
You’ve subdued the public 🫠
