I don't think I will be suited for middle school. The oldest grade I can teach is third and below and that's it. However, younger kids are pretty needy so I think I would like it that they are more independent. But for sure, even with young kids, you would be surprised at the language that they use. I have a first grader who swears like a construction worker. F* this, sh* that, and all that! That's just first grade! Yeah, they have no problem saying it even though they have some speech problems. Clear as day! I pack most of the food for my son...hehehe...I make do with a bagel and cream cheese for lunch with soda of course. When I first moved here, I would bring rice and a dish for lunch and heat it in the staff room. Now, I am happy with a bagel. On Fridays, teachers bring something to share but the last few weeks, it has been a sad Friday. I am happy with just a donut and not even that! Hehehe....
