This is a good video, and I have a question: Even if you have the cash, how would someone justify dropping north of $100,000 on a vehicle? If the purchasing decision is an opportunity-cost analysis, that capital is probably better deployed elsewhere.
You’re exactly right in my eyes, but I do know people personally that have done it. Me personally I would have invested that money, and made sure it was working for me. The person I know however does use the car to make more . I just couldn’t do it.

Buy reliable used vehicles that you can easily maintain and then drive them until you literally can't anymore, anything early 00's and older
