UPDATE: Pumping was updated and has changed slightly. You no longer need to hold down the right stick to pump. You only use the left stick now. So this tutorial will still work and teach you the timing of how to pump but you don't need to hold down on the right stick 👍 This is better now because you could be set up for a nollie and still be able to pump!
So glad we have you to teach us this stuff because the in-game tutorials are lacking this level of detail. This release isn't without its problems, but FWIW I think this game has the BEST transition riding in any bmx game.
Pumping should be holding the triggers down slightly as you start to hit the quarter pipe (like skate 3) as the triggers are your legs in the game! Don’t know why it’s been done using the steering button (left stick)
Bro the inconsistencies of legs and arm controls in this game make no sense. You figure out to footjam yet? You’d think it would be a nose manual and a trigger in to activate your leg. Nope. It’s LB and nose manual. There’s so much that just doesn’t make sense with these new controls 100% agree though that would be such a better way to pump
Lets not mention the blatant copy right from skate 3 woth this area of the game. Exact copy from the spillway and megapark like it's 90% the exact same as spillway.....@@ienjoicomics101
@@ienjoicomics101 yeah man 100%, foot jam is so goofy on this game, the mod on pipe is way is better! I’m pretty sure the modded foot jam on pipe is forward right stick and left trigger which makes sense! the fact you could do foot whips and the overall animation of it in pipe was better!
Not sure if this is a custom map but this is a straight rip off of the miracle bowl in skate 3 and there's another spot in this game that rips off the boneyard from skate 2 🤔
That game pad viewer thing looks awesome! I've seen that sort of thing before but this looks really professional. So rad this game finally came out and this channel makes such great content about it.

Honestly, coming from a bmx and skate background. Pumping should just be the one stick. Naturally and Instinctively you pump when you ride transitions. Unless, you don't know how to ride. If your going to hop, your bending down to hop and pump.
Hi I have bought this game but I can't get past the main menu, I can move those animated bmxers back and forth on the menu with the shoulder buttons and I can hold A to accept the auto save prompt box but then I can't get past the menu, I cant press A to start, I've tried 4 different controllers, dualsense, nacon Pro, xbox one, switch, they all work with other games but not on this game, do u have any idea why this is? Thank you in advance

I can't play it because it's lagging soo damn bad! All settings are on min and the cpu usage is lowest. Any tips on how I get this game to run smoothly? Google isn't helpful :(

What a blatant copy this area is from skate 3. Go to the skatepark at the end of the spillway and tell me this isn't the exact same if not mixed with a hint of the megapark? Honestly after waiting 7+ years for this game i'm not impressed at all hey? I hope the guy who developed this game gets sued by EA games cause the amount of copy right is ridiculous and not cool at all. I'd much prefer pipe bmx controls and layout than this clunky mess.

Pumping a BMX is more than just foot pressure because, unlike a skateboard, you're also attached at the hands. That's why it has to be different.

Feels like a bmx simulator. Not a game lol. But it kinda keeps me entertained. Its like real life. Trying one line for an hour lol
you get used to it after a while, like with every game there is a learning curve, but I'd still prefer if it were easier lol.
