I was a little chubby back then by 2007 standards. 140lbs. I was so insecure about it that that I developed an ED, dropped to 125, and then couldn't get out of bed at 115. I'm 165 now and considered slender by today's standards. I'm about 5'10". Turns out I was NEVER fat.
Ohhh I hear ya. I was bullied a lot back then. It was rough back then. I look at pictures and see my old clothes and realize that I was tricked too. I was 5’8 and 120 in high school, but I didn’t have a flat stomach like my friends. Turns out, I have endometriosis.
Everyone else turning their head and looking at her was totally unrealistic. But that guy? That guy wasn't even an extra, he just happened to be on the bus when they started shooting the movie.
When I watched that movie "The Whale," I got the same impression: that they said, "Is this how fat people live," and just had the guy wolfing down multiple pizzas comedically like Eddie Murphy in "The Nutty Professor."
