  • Light emitting diodes, LEDs, are awesome and are nearly everywhere nowadays. We take a practical trip through the basics of LEDs, in particular their forward voltage and how not to apply a voltage across them. We compare the forward voltage of different LED colors. Finally, we destroy an LED in an incredibly unsatisfying way while seeing how current changes with voltage.
