Honestly I feel like Valeyard as well as the Watcher from Logopolis is something much more complex than just another incarnation, thus he can't be completly destroyed.
They could still make Tennant the Valeyard with his 14th incarnation. The only thing that prevents the doctor from giving in towards the darkside is their companions. Lets just say the doctor donna thing wasnt actually fixed when she released that energy(im saying this because with Donnas clone being able to recall things only the doctor donna or 13 and beyond would only know. So the energy probably still within her) and it harms her which spirals 14 to try to prevent this but everything keeps forging Donna to end the same way. He goes insane and cold towards his other incarnations for not caring(to him) enough to help him save Donna which causes him to become the valeyard. Probably wont happen but the thing about the companions keeping them from turning into the valeyard is somewhat true. In some cases when the doctor does a trip alone they become colder and less doctorish. Especially with 10. So if theyre gone too long from a companion it would lead to them relying more on their darkside.
A missed opportunity really. It would have been nice to get more of a continuation of Ten's darker impulses without a companion and have the Valeyard be born as a result. But I guess there are other ways to bring back the Valeyard through the Dream Lord or something.
Arguably Capaldis doctor could have become the valeyard too but Clara pulled him back. Both by giving him an almighty bollocking after that nonsene with the moon being an egg and when he had his memory wiped after pulling her out of the time line after she died. In both those episodes the doctors ego was getting out of hand.
@@fictionalmind-bending3224 the doctor definitely has a darker side and it's good that the producers explore that. I haven't seen enough Chibnals reign to really see if he did, but Davies and Moffat certainly pulled it off.
I think that somehow the Metacrisis Doctor is the valyard and he somehow found a way to return to main universe which subsequently led to the trial of the Doctor. Being mortal, the Metacrisis Doctor, the Valyard, would naturally try to extend his own life which is why he wanted all the Doctor's remaining regenerations.
I’m the episode I thought they said the valeyard was his 12th incarnation and if we count the war doctor and 10s 2nd regeneration technically he is the 12th doctor so that could’ve lined up
If The Doctor not saved Adelaide Brooke he would’ve sticked with his morality and rules that he knows not to interfere with history so that The Valeyard never gets released in existence and he knows that he knows if he gets even darker and goes to far he will lose himself forever and he’s trying to prevent this because he’s scared of what he thinks he might become
great video but i don't understand why he has to take her back to earth, he has a TARDIS, he could have taken her to a human compatible society anywhere in time and space
But adelaide would have to live with the knowledge that she cant see her daughter or family, anyone she knew, and understand an entire new culture, plus i think Adelaide still would have done the same after the talk, so i think it would've just been unkind

Pretty much why they've endured for 40 something years

I'm not sure the fandom could handle a dark doctor lol. Even the war doctor wasnt a bad guy really
This is where the Doctor became Space Heisenberg.

He was pretty dark his first season. Good point

It does get confusing doesn't it? lol
With the last special we know the Doctor can revert back to his previous incarnations
So that Doctor can still become the Valeyard
NO
They said that Valeyard somewhere between 12th and final incarnation, not just 12th
@@superpower8678and that he was the Doctors darkness made manifest not an actual Incarnation
@potsdam28 This is the part that most people overlook. The Valeyard isn't the same being as the Doctor.
You know the bi-generation thing makes me wonder if 14 will end up BECOMING the Valeyard

Honestly I don't think suicide at home would have same "inspirational" effect as heroic death on Mars. This is very weak plot point in my opinion.
That's the whole point, the doctor ruined her legacy out of his own selfishness.
great video
