So, a quick recap: -Drives a robot right into the middle of an enemy outpost in broad daylight without being seen -Takes the prisoner out of the building and wormholes him right out in the open -Tokyo Drifts on the sand dunes like freaking Mad Max meets Initial D -Successfully holds up four guys on Walker Gears using a squirt gun -Is free to rescue the target, but instead LEAVES him out in the open to be recaptured -Rescues ANOTHER hostage -Uses the power of cardboard boxes and pornography to dupe and extract two more enemies -Steals the driver's ride and drives off into the sunset with the target in tow Jesus Christ dude, you didn't just beat the game, you took it home, slept with it, called it a cab and then went to its house to bang its mother.
Another mission where you can go straight to the main target, fulton him and be done in 3-4 minutes. To make it more difficult, I also extracted all optional targets, in addition to the CIA agent: 2 prisoners, 4 search team soldiers on Walker Gears, the driver and the XOF agent.
+prenatual Do Walker Gears soldiers always surrender or where you just lucky? Also, any particular reason for not extracting the Walker Gears? Or you just have too many?
coap They surrender 100% of the time. I didn't extract Walker Gears because I don't need them. I already have 30+ of them and I've done all main combat dispatch mission that require you to use them.
You prolly dont care at all but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Shepard Madden Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
+auric180 There are a few dialogue changes like that in the earlier missions. In the 9th mission Kaz will compliment you if you deal with the vehicles very quickly ("Boss, you are taking them out faster than they can come in!"). There is also a funny line in the 8th mission when you ignore Kaz and go straight to the target's location without reading the intel file first (at 1:00): ua-cam.com/video/PHlbMgatK0A/v-deo.html Can't remember anything else though.
***** Ohhhhh, thanks. I feel stupid now lol, every time I've picked a lock I just waited for the animation to end. :P Oh, and BTW, do your methods for some of the missions work with the extreme versions? For example the Quiet Boss Fight video that you made? After S Ranking all the missions I'd like to get all the special objectives as well.
Boosh Gaming All Bosses have 2 or 3 times more health on Extreme, so the strategies from the normal versions wouldn't work. You could still try to beat them with CQC, of course, but it would take a lot more time.
I was really confused when i haphazardly drove straight to the destination in a truck with d-dog. Fultoned the target, drove off and finished the mission without even seeing an enemy.
All right, let's recap : The truck driver gets stunned by the vision of a bikini woman in front of a cardboard box. He then tries to get closer but his vision gets obstructed. Nonetheless, he stays stunned in front of those very interesting rocks despite the woman disapearance. So... What was he doing ? I know you probably just broke his script, but from a "Watsonian" standpoint: this leaves not a lot of theories about what he was really trying to do... Good thing, you interrupted him. x)
Basically, it was a pathfinding glitch. The script involving the box worked exactly as intended. The game told the soldier at 9:20: "get as close to that box as you can, then stop there and start admiring the box". Since he couldn't find a path directly to the box (because he can't climb), he stopped at nearest point at the cliff wall and started his "admiring animation" there. Enemies only leave this "admiring animation" when they see the box move with their own eyes. They can't telepathically know when you turn the box on/off without seeing it. Since he couldn't see me leave the box, he didn't react to it. If I didn't interrupt him at 10:00, he would stay there indefinitely.
+prenatual Are you like a game dev or something? Seems like you really know your stuff with all these talk about scripts and glitch. Just wondering :) Good video btw. As always.
+RJ Tagayon I'm curious to know this as well. I've always thought he just happened to be someone with extensive simulation mastery, not necessarily a game developer. Kind of like Neo, but just for Stealth games.
RJ Tagayon Nah, I'm not a dev. I dabbled a bit in Half-Life 2 modding in 2004-2005: made small levels in the map editor and created my own textures and sounds, but nothing came out of it. I learned a lot about the inner working of Source engine during that time, though, and that's what helps me to analyze the AI in other games.
A rather irrelevant question: I think you have gone on a mission with D-Dog only once, throughout your whole series of gameplay up to this point. What do you think of D-Dog? Can its role match that of the D-Walker or D-Horse in accordance with your No-Trace stealth playstyle? Also, great gameplay as always. :)
D-Dog is awesome for aggressive/noisy stealth, but he is useless for the playstyle I'm going for. I don't need his auto-marking, since I've already replayed missions numerous times and know where all the enemies are. I can't let him attack anyone, since that cancels No Traces. He can attract attention of multiple enemies in a large radius (40-45m) with his bark, and that can be very helpful on No Traces runs -- but since I'm generally trying to play without using distractions, that's of little use to me too. Overall, D-Horse is the best buddy for "ghosting", since you can hide on it in plain sight 25 meters away from enemies during the day.
This game is very well made. The graphics, gameplay, style, acting. But also sophisticated which might turn away some players who prefer more simpler gameplay.
They spotted him first and I panicked, so the first thing I did is that I threw a smoke bomb in there and got in to grab him out... It got me an S rank and was the very first time it happened, I didn't know that they'd help him out instead shooting him like a normal prisoner.
I used to play this game a TON. Its a real shame they're not making a new one for ps5. I don't see any reason to buy a ps5 at this point in time w/o a new metal gear game.
@@calwu8252 yeah, I caved and got a PS5 shortly after that comment of mine. Hopefully, Kojima stops fucking around and makes the game we've all been waiting for.
Whoa, that was quite amazing. I was thinking though, is it really necessary to get rid of that guard at 9:10 ? Instead of using the door, you can also extract the target by throwing him out of the window (unless that move invalidates the No traces?)
+PlayRough089 That guy at 9:10 is one of the optional targets in this mission ("Extract the driver of the transport vehicle"). You can throw the prisoner out of the window, but the noise would alert the nearby guard. I prefer to do things without causing disturbances unless necessary.
My game broke I put the prisoner near the window, I climb then half crouch, . . . Boom, I can pick up the prisoner from that window because of the box you used to climb the window 😂😂😂 I dont its just happened though 😂 its the same principle to that trucks full of soldier that got in one fulton, . . . You can pick up STND soldiers from above 😂😂😂
Phenomenal!!! Almost preternatural abilities😉 I respect the amount of practice you must put into each of these flawless runs in your videos, and the sheer amount of memorisation of guard movements, behaviours and their 'triggers' is mind blowing!! Would the cardboard box trick work on the drivers of those D-Walkers? If I stood in front of one of them with the box and poster of the model, do they get off to gawk at her picture, or do they stay on their walkers? Unfortunately for me, my driving abilities with D-Walker resemble that of a drunken hobo in a shopping trolley/cart after one too many.
So at 11:05 the "busted" chime sounded, yet you still got perfect stealth, I always thought that when you heard that chime it was all over, restart the console and back to square one if you want to get perfect stealth. Would you please explain how does that work? Is there like a small time lapse before it actually counts as an alert, or something?
Have a question about leveling up your base. I want to get existing people in my combat team to earn medals by having them take Snake's place on missions. Which staff adds the most amount of experience? The ones you choose from the bottom or top of the list? I'm only using S++ staff on missions. Three S mission scores earns you one medal.
You should always using your weekly staff to improve thier skills by short main mission so you have to get A staff or B they can get S rank by playing Sorry my English is bad
Question. At the second camp, when the Jeep drives into the camp, the guard says they see "signs of enemy activity", even though no one saw me get the prisoner out, nor did I knock anyone out. What am I doing wrong. No one is seeing me on the cliff side either. They just see the truck and go into alert status.
interacting with anything can cause this, or maybe instead of using the “prisoner is missing” audio, the game pattern used “signes of enemy activity” audio.
Any sort of semblance of balance is done once you get the walker it’s so silly and they had to know it would make everything after it just a joke. And he wanted to have even bigger mechs just imagine how silly that shit would have been . I do not dislike d walker

Kaz : "Careful, Boss, they have Walker Gears deployed"
Venom : "Sure, but mine's got Heelys(TM)"
Who would win?
- a regimen of highly trained Russians
- a 50 year old armed with a water pistol and two boxes
a BRAINDAMAGED 50 year old
So, a quick recap:
-Drives a robot right into the middle of an enemy outpost in broad daylight without being seen
-Takes the prisoner out of the building and wormholes him right out in the open
-Tokyo Drifts on the sand dunes like freaking Mad Max meets Initial D
-Successfully holds up four guys on Walker Gears using a squirt gun
-Is free to rescue the target, but instead LEAVES him out in the open to be recaptured
-Rescues ANOTHER hostage
-Uses the power of cardboard boxes and pornography to dupe and extract two more enemies
-Steals the driver's ride and drives off into the sunset with the target in tow

People who can play with keyboard and mouse correctly impress me, i can't ffs
+Immoral Timothy it took me a day in Ground Zeroes to get used to, the keyboard and mouse controls in this game can be weird sometimes.

you should let the cut scene play on your video's
Cutscenes factor into mission play time, and time is crucial to get the S rank
Oh....I didn't know
+Tre'Quez Price Cutscenes count as play time, so chances of rank S decrease if you don't skip them.
That'd waste time, something that's not advisable if one wants to S-Rank it. Just watch a Long Play of TPP for that.
Tre'Quez Price Cutscenes take up time on missions
Well this is amazing
I can't do like this
Can u please make a video teach us how to stealth perfect
Hello do you prefer the reco. head or the interception head in D-Walker ?
you are pretty good
Does not work for me. Get to 1st prisoner base is filled with guards
Hey whats that deployment box you use that overrides the helicopter?
Wormhole fulton,u have to capture an animal for it i think
You don't have to carry people into the open to extract them with the wormhole.
if he didn't move them to a safer area it would generate noise and yank his no traces run
You can make noise, my favorite is having DD Fulton prisoners right in front of the enemy, and still get No Traces.
Hey, didn't you mention using D-Horse in Afghanistan?
How do you just ride up to a base get someone and get out in like 2 seconds for me to do that it would take an hour
you all ready finish it up ?
Respect u know how 2 play this game :)

How you keave those walker gear thats xtra gmp if tou sell them
You should've extracted the Walker Gears for the good GMP they give per sell, just imho anyways. ^^; Other than that, excellent work. :)
He wouldn't have had to worry about GMP at this point in the game.
Is there a reason why you always do your no traces during the day? Is it for the extra challenge?
