I admire your perspective, calm demeanor and explanation of the processes in an organizational method. I am working on this method of tiling and find the direction very helpful. Thank you
was that caravaggios technique, too? nice video btw, i realized that i used to paint a lot like that some years ago, maybe i should try it again once a while
Thank you also for this beautiful video! I am reading in Henri's "Spirit of Art": "Think of values as giving form, not as spots of light and dark" (p. 255). I recognize in these two different methods of execution, on the one hand traditional painting with the applied scientific knowledge of volumes and light, supported by the knowledge of anatomy, and on the other hand the method of the impressionists with the juxtaposition of spots of the same tone in different colors to dismantle the light. The method presented in this video is that of the latter, I think. Since I am very interested in the history of painting methods, do you know of testimonies of this method in times prior to those of the impressionists? Thank you!
I'm intrigued by this process. Are you using the same brush for different colors, and if so, how are you able to use the next color without accidentally mixing them? Perhaps you're cleaning it with every stroke, but it seems unlikely with the short time between drawing and grabbing a color.
This is how i make my paintings and drawings before.......i stopped coz for not convient for this process consumes and takes a lot of time to finish a work. Now im switching to loose painting and drawing......
I had never heard of this process thats pretty cool

I'm not sure how I got a membership but thank you Flo! I'll try this technique out
Similar to the "paint-by-numbers" kits.
Great stuff!
I just think the eye should be closer to the nose than what is shown. At least my eye is.

Breathe, please breathe.
Non pausing talking is tiresome.
