I so envy your FF boxes! Ours are so so bad. I check all the time and the veggie or fruit bags will have like 6 assorted apples for $5. Or a couple bell peppers and a random lemon. Nothing so good as yours!
I love flash food boxes. I almost always pick ones w peppers and tomatoes when I see them and come home and roast the tomatoes w onions and some peppers etc then blend it up for sauce. Peppers I slice up and flash freeze then rebag. Berries I usually flash freeze too. So much value sometimes if u can save everything quickly Just found you this week and so happy to watch. Ty for sharing.
I love flash food boxes as well. Not that happy about the new implemented fees for flash food, sadly. Really, it is such a wonderful value. Thanks for watching. I'm glad you discovered the channel.
OK. I need to get on this. I''ve never done that before. I do use "bottled" lime juice in lots of recipes, including guacamole. I've just never made my own.
The handsome one really enjoys when the boxes have lots of fruit and I like the veggie ones. So when they are mixed, it's perfect for us! I do like lobster!!!
Hi Melanie 🤗 Awesome scrore on the flash food boxes. I freeze avocados and limes all the time. I freeze the limes whole and let them thaw in the fridge overnight since I use them everyday as my simple salad dressing(I have a small container with a lid that fits a large sized lime perfectly. with the avocado, I cut them all and depending on size I will cut in halves or quarters - scoop out flesh and lay on a sheet tray to freeze individually and then I store them in a ziploc- good for smoothies or to thaw out for a guacamole or to just have as a spread on toast etc.... We always buy organic bananas because my handsome has a mild allergic reaction to the regular ones.We find that they taste better too. let me know what you think! Ooooh Panettone is pretty good stuff, I've never had one with cream but the bread like ones you can slice and freeze. Good for a treat with a nice cup of coffee or tea. I toast them carefully in the toaster or oven to reheat.
Good job on the boxes! Twelve cents for the ice cream was pretty good! $30 for one item that is edible is either seafood (lobster?) or meat, I’m guessing. - Tania 💖
Those boxes. I'm still excited thinking about them. The handsome one has been loving the apples. Seafood (lobster) is pretty tasty! I donlove bulk buying meat! Thanks for watching, Tania.
Love the boxes! I get sooo excited when i find good ones. Recently got 12 huge red, orange and yellow peppers. Cut them up for the freezer. Got a gallon bag stuffed full and that box was only $3.50. And you can NEVER go wrong with 12 cent ice cream lol.
Yes the boxes are fantastic deals! I freeze avocado all the time. I remove and slice it then put in vacuum sealed bags and freeze. Also made some guacamole and used a tablespoon to freeze little mounds of it on waxed paper on a cookie sheet then bagged it. Thaws out great. Really good on toast .
I chose caramel too ! lol If it is a non food item, think you bought a seal a meal a.k.a. food vacuum sealer?? If its a food item, I think its a grill box of meat: a variety box of meats for grilling? I know that Costco has those. Either way, thanks so much for the video. I think you should rename your channel to Adventures with Melanie! Because Im SURE that you have many more things to share on how to save besides with groceries!
@adventuresingroceryland I can't imagine spending that much on one item. Wait, a wheel of parmasean? It probably costs more than that. No clue other than lots of meat???
I say lobster too! Some kind of mother's day special 😊
I do like lobster!

Great Flash Food boxes! I check out offers frequently but have never seen great boxes like these in the Liverpool area.
These ones were from Windsor. I was certainly wowed by them.
Squeeze the limes and pour into ice cube moulds and freeze. It makes everything zing. Amazing guacamole. Next level.
And don’t forget the zest of the lime. Flavour explosion

Flash boxes were great. I see in the stores many times they charge $9.99 for a bag of avocados.
Hmmm $30....my guess is lobster.

When you freeze your avocados, do you mash it and freeze it in little scoops?
@@adventuresingroceryland no I just scoop it out from the half of the shell and leave intact or if it's really big I cut it in half

I did see a post once about freezing scoops of avocados on cookie trays. I was thinking of trying that.
Enjoyed the video😊awesome deals
Thanks!
The boxes are a great deal. Lots of smoothy bananas. 12 cent ice cream, can't pass that up. And I would have picked the caramel also.😊
Those hoxes were so great!
Lobster for Mother's Day is my guess.
Lobster is tasty!
wow on the boxes. I'll have to check and see it flashfood is here in WV
The boxes were awesome!
Ice cream for 12 cents is fantastic! I bet those cakes are tasty. Be sure to let us know. My guess is some kind of seafood.
I definitely like seafood.
make guacamole with the avocado and limes and freeze it in portions you can eat in one or two sittings.
I am going to freeze avocados for the first time.
For $30 - I am guessing some form is f beef, like a roast, brisket - something beefy
I do love roast beef!

Lol....
A grill box would be an awesome thing to spend my budget on!
I'll guess a fresh salmon or tuna fish.
Ooh. Good guesses. Seafood is definitely pricey.
Did you buy a big piece of meat at costco that you can cut up for the BBQ and freeze for all summer?
I definitely like bulk buying and then portioning for future use.
This isn’t considered food, but rather a drink. How about a nice bottle of champagne?
I have been known to enjoy some champagne, especially in the form of a mimosa! Lol.
Did You get a Brisket for $30.00?
Thanks for Sharing.
Ooh. That's an interesting guess. 🙂
I've never seen drumstick ice cream!
Is the $30 item edible???
Definitely edible!
@adventuresingroceryland I can't imagine spending that much on one item. Wait, a wheel of parmasean? It probably costs more than that. No clue other than lots of meat???
@@pennynickels5216 Good guesses!
My guess is you bought ground beef.
Bulk ground beef is always a stellar purchase! So versatile.
Wait, what did you buy for 30 bucks? ❤😊
Lol, what do you guess that I purchased for $30? Ha.
I just don’t know but am so curious lol 😂 🎉❤😊
