Thanks for the videos Jono! I remember watching the first Trans Madeira where you started your channel......Of course you had to jinx yourself by saying all of you had stayed on your bikes!! Looks like a blast!!
Here i am at 25:41 on the left, climbing my way back up cause i couldnt ride the trails cause of the race😂 if only i knew you were right in front of me. You guys were looking to have a blast, keep it up Jono!
Wow and wow can someone remind Matt that this A race not a fun day at the bike park stage 7 was just like that epic the best stage of the whole 5 days for me and big respect to Steve as an ex goalkeeper I know what it’s like doing sport with broken fingers FairPlay dude
Watching down hill is like a car fan watching f1. Great to watch but not relatable to normal riders. Enduro is like a car fan watching rallying, we can all go buy a mk2 escort and have a go, even if we're shit, love listening to the running commentary and warning shouts along the sections. 👏👏👍👍🏴🏴.
Three things I can't emphasise enough: How easy these boys made pretty tricky trails look! Us normies did not do that well down some of those 🤣 How incredibly polite the guys were when passing. The arm pump. Oh man, the arm pump.
Might be a stupid question: what's the point of the goggles without lense? I've never ridden with one, too shortsighted, need my specs on all the time...
The Shigura situation should be absolutely fine so long as you use a braided Jagwire Mountain Hydraulic Pro hose and purchase a Magura calliper fittings kit along with a Shimano fitting kit. Then simply use the Magura calliper fittings at the calliper end (I think you can buy a hose which comes pre-fitted both ends with the calliper fitting) and then use the Shimano brake lever fitting at the lever end. Doing so prevents not perfect fitting hose issues which result in permanent leakage and loss of power etc. There’s a difference I’m when it comes to internal hose diameters used baby Magura and Shimano…this results in problems when it comes to getting the two to ‘mate up’ correctly
Just to stop the rain from blocking our vision. The tracks are often over 5 minutes, and when you’re up in the clouds it can cover them in droplets quite quickly and make it hard to see - easier to just blink the water away when it’s like that! :-)
@@Jono_Jones maybe I'm being thick🤣 but surely with no lenses they don't do anything? I understand with lenses they get wet and hard to see out of (wear glasses drives me mad)
Can I ask why you ride with goggles at all if you're taking the lenses out? I'm just a skateboarder who likes the content so this is a bit lost on me 😊
Jono absolutely screams like R2D2 and it kills me. So funny.
that last stage was brilliant. Well done Jono.
I was just thinking “wow that’s a long 100 meters” and then you said it also, lol
I must've said it when he said it then, as I didn't hear him say it!
Yes Jono! Loving the vibe of just riding with mates… but in relatively extreme circumstances! 👊😎❤️
Love how much Jono enjoys these races!
Awesome video, riding and crew, Jono!! Loving it!! Love the in stage commentary, woo hoos, and especially the Heavy Breathing!!! Keep it up!!!
Sicks rides, love this island! Totally metal all the changes, even on 1 track
credit where credit is due, Jono been working on his AM's and PM's 😂. top video mate I love the high pitched giggling and screaming on every trail 🤣
Oh that pure joy in your hoots is infectious. Love it
Best content on UA-cam this. Absolutely brilliant!
Up there with the very best Jono.
Really enjoy and appreciate these vids.

Hell yeah Jono , you and the boys are ripping. I knew you were going to visit a bush at some point in the day well done.
Jono you are so good to watch ride!! So entertaining and inspirational!!
Thanks for the videos Jono! I remember watching the first Trans Madeira where you started your channel......Of course you had to jinx yourself by saying all of you had stayed on your bikes!! Looks like a blast!!
Awesome riding, but big shout out for the rear braking, body checking old man, Ste

How do you guys not die of handpump during such long and gnarly trails? Sick video!
Those look like the funnest downhill trails ever!!! Would love to ride those! ... Really cool seeing Kris Kyle in the mix with you guys! 🤙
The last one with Matt was so fast and stylish it was great to watch.
such great Content Jono! Fun times for sure - you're making me want to race it
What a crew!!! The Hockenhull’s are just a family of shredders 😂

Great content. Thanks for taking us on this journey.
Tell me Kriss Kyle doesn’t drink coffee! Lethal combo 😂
Who wouldn't want to session that last track? Epic
08:49 Sound like Francis Bourgois when he see's a train! :D Epic Riding as always Jono
That last stage (Santa Cruz) trail is one of my favourites by far, gives such a forearm pump tho 😂 looks mega out there!
trop bien les singles et bien boueux toujours un plaisir de regarder t'ai vidéo
Loved that. Looked well fun!
Jono thanks for the upload. This race is a good excuse to go and visit my parents in Madeira! 😂
Those trails look amazing...why didn't I get into this sport sooner 🤩
Glad you started anyway!
@@frits8986 Better late than never 😆
Thanks Jono, amazing, good race
Amazing stuff, Jono!!! 💪
Matt is a beast! Absolute send
SO COOL to watch!!!!
That last stage!🤯 awesome!🤙🏻
Wow the flow the train won't be stopped boys. Well on, then...
I need to try this race, looks epic!

yes jono🤩 love the vlogs keep em going🤞🐐
You just had to say it was going well didn't you! 😂 looking like a proper tough couple of days. Still makes me want to do it again though....I think 😂
Looks like you boys had a proper Gaudi 😅
Sick trails on this magic island 🔥
That last stage I was shouting “concentrate, don’t fall”
I was expecting you to piss on your hands again to warm them up. lol
In the last video I was wondering the same thing when he changed his gloves.
god I'd forgotten about that!🤢🥴😆
how much uphill between stages?
from what i've seen through the years it looks seriously physical
its much better when you have a rider in front of you.
Might be a stupid question: what's the point of the goggles without lense? I've never ridden with one, too shortsighted, need my specs on all the time...
Hydro Jacket is finally on😍

What a bike, omg
Everyone watching these videos: "I hope this is the trail with the shoot section" iykyk
isnt 125 psi in the fork the max pressure ?
Jono you can't cheers a beer and not sip/drink it
💪
is it just me or does jono look like angry kid 🤔 0.42 then pause it 😂😂😂
What I have learnt from mtb is, you can be ass end of the world and there will be a few people on a trail hyping you on 👌🏻
What is the reason for no lenses ?😅
To much mud, gets on the lens and they can’t see. Get rid of the lens and you can blink the dirt from your eyes, I think?
The goggle frame keeps the helmet stable as well.
who is the guy with the redbull helmet
Kris Kyle
Kriss Kyle, UK
Why goggles with no lenses and not just no goggles? Rules?

I think the rules state they to wear goggles but don’t say anything about the lenses.
@@emma_m0 oh okay cool, thank you! 👍
The goggles also provide extra stability of the helmet…
Cmon
Why wear goggles with no lense? 😂 They hold your helmet on? TransMUDeira
Think the rules state they have to wear goggles .
@@emma_m0 That makes sense, kinda haha

no ur not @ancientdwarf5728 is
