If you watch some of the interviews with the MCU cast, it's clear that Tom knows way more than rest of the cast about the MCU. He takes note of the lore, the characters, the dialogue and importantly respects them alot.

I get what you mean! I’m Danish and I was 9 when I saw the first Avengers movie with Tom Hiddleston in it, I quickly became captured by his way of speaking and loved his acting (every movie or play he has been in is phenomenable!). He really made me become more interested in Shakespearean plays which in the end helped my English a lot!
Each time I watch an interview with Tom, I can feel all his emotions towards his roll as Loki pouring out of him and the way his eyes sparkle at the notion of Loki is just so endearing. You can feel how important this role has been for him. I'm so proud and happy to have such a talented and passionate actor such as Tom playing the character of Loki. I love him as an actor and I love him as Loki cause he puts so much love and effort in him!
I saw once... He said it didn't really hit him until he went to a comic con.... Once he saw the Fandom.... He understood this is more then just a character on a screen. He knew he had a responsibility to the fans to give them best Loki they deserve... He also stays in character anytime he sees a kid dressed like Thor...
A lot of people here are saying Tom should do better projects and involve in other things apart from Loki. But I feel like this is the place he got the most love from. Everywhere else his words and actions were twisted and misunderstood (ex: Taylor Swift dating debacle, Golden globe speech). He has been dragged and bashed for silly things when he has been nothing but humble and modest and extremely kind. MCU is the one place where people accepted him and loved him even though he played a villain, a second lead. Loki isnt a character that historically takes the front row of a story but it's because of fans, they brought him back again and again. Chris Hemsworth is perfect Thor as that character is not supposed to be misguided, complex or tormented but majestic,wholesome and fun. Tom Hiddleston brought Loki to life with perfection and his performance has garnered such love from so many people. Not a single MCU fan hate him. So it makes sense, he is still here after 10 years. I hope he continues to get this kind of love and gets bigger projects and gets recognized for his amazing performances.

One of the best, if not the best character in the MCU. I remember watching Thor 1 and falling in love with Tom's portrayal of Loki. He was so good in the sort of "Shakespearian way" his scene were scripted and directed that I could have watched an entire movie with just him. I'm glad we got to see him in all the other movies and still show will definitely be good!

A lot of people hate on Thor: the Dark World, and sure, it's got its flaws, but that movie is where Loki acquires real pathos, and gives him that much more depth, and one of the reasons he's become such a beloved character.

Tom Hiddleston's performance as Loki is why the MCU has been so successful, in my opinion. The early movies were fairly formulaic (as comic book movies usually are) in my opinion. Loki was the first villain that we actually liked - because you can see that he could be so good if he wanted - and we ended up conflicted about him over and over. That sort of relatable "villain" created so much more depth to the films and I'm so glad everyone involved seized on the opportunity to develop characters that were so much more than just 2-dimensional comic book heroes. Plus, he's charming, funny, and incredibly handsome. :D
The fact that Josh Brolin hugged him after finding out that they're filming his 10 years old character's death scene is the sweetest most wholesome thing ever.

I love how Tom describes what it was like portraying the God of Mischief Loki, in over the 10 years of him playing the character. Personally I can't see anyone else playing the character, he is made for Loki and visa versa Loki was made for him. Too perfect actor/character and character/actor, my favorite moments in this video of his description is where he mention the scene in Thor: The Dark World as well as Thor Ragnorok because both scenes are emotional, and as if the two brothers bonded in some way. Truly a wonderful actor and a amazing man, to play such a interesting character from the comics as well as Norse Mythology.
Being a Hiddlestonian, I am so so so very glad Tom got the role of Loki. I couldn't possibly imagine anyone else being a better fit. The most interesting and fun character in the Marvel franchise by far. 💜🤗
Hiddleston’s a stage actor first, which is in contrast to the large majority of US actors this day and age. Perfect fit for such a theatrical role that Loki required in this incarnation. #Respect
When you hear him narrating the scenes years after they he did them, he still remembers the lines and he's not lost within the scrip/the lore which he helps adapting to cinema. The few details like "the tesseract also called the space stone" makes it clear that he's comitted to the universe he blends in as an actor, unlike others who acts in films and have no clue what they're doing. He belongs to the elite of actors.
the most emotional moment for me was during Infinity war, when Loki called himself an Odinson. Forget all the other scenes, THIS is where he gets his redemption and where we can really really see him and how his thoughts have changed over the past movies. it tears me up every time i watch it
Much like many of the actors that became synonymous with the character they play in the MCU, Tom is the definite Loki and he absolutely plays him brilliantly. I can’t wait for the series and personally speaking, I feel he absolutely needs his own movie as well.

i think it depends on if you *LOVE* the character or not. as a fan, i actually remember most of Loki's lines.
Actually if you really learn your lines you will probably always remember a majority of them if you get into it. Just like remembering recepies or your favorite song.

I’m Danish and I was 9 when I saw the first Avengers movie with Tom Hiddleston in it, I quickly became captured by his way of speaking and loved his acting (every movie or play he has been in is phenomenable!). Each time I watch an interview with Tom, I can feel all his emotions towards his roll as Loki pouring out of him and the way his eyes sparkle at the notion of Loki is just so endearing. You can feel how important this role has been for him. I'm so proud and happy to have such a talented and passionate actor such as Tom playing the character of Loki. I love him as an actor and I love him as Loki cause he puts so much love and effort in him!

A lot of people here are saying Tom should do better projects and involve in other things apart from Loki. But I feel like this is the place he got the most love from. Everywhere else his words and actions were twisted and misunderstood (ex: Taylor Swift dating debacle, Golden globe speech). He has been dragged and bashed for silly things when he has been nothing but humble and modest and extremely kind. MCU is the one place where people accepted him and loved him even though he played a villain, a second lead. Loki isnt a character that historically takes the front row of a story but it's because of fans, they brought him back again and again.
Chris Hemsworth is perfect Thor as that character is not supposed to be misguided, complex or tormented but majestic,wholesome and fun. Tom Hiddleston brought Loki to life with perfection and his performance has garnered such love from so many people. Not a single MCU fan hate him. So it makes sense, he is still here after 10 years. I hope he continues to get this kind of love and gets bigger projects and gets recognized for his amazing performances.

One of the best, if not the best character in the MCU. I remember watching Thor 1 and falling in love with Tom's portrayal of Loki. He was so good in the sort of "Shakespearian way" his scene were scripted and directed that I could have watched an entire movie with just him. I'm glad we got to see him in all the other movies and still show will definitely be good!

A lot of people hate on Thor: the Dark World, and sure, it's got its flaws, but that movie is where Loki acquires real pathos, and gives him that much more depth, and one of the reasons he's become such a beloved character.

Tom Hiddleston's performance as Loki is why the MCU has been so successful, in my opinion. The early movies were fairly formulaic (as comic book movies usually are) in my opinion. Loki was the first villain that we actually liked - because you can see that he could be so good if he wanted - and we ended up conflicted about him over and over. That sort of relatable "villain" created so much more depth to the films and I'm so glad everyone involved seized on the opportunity to develop characters that were so much more than just 2-dimensional comic book heroes. Plus, he's charming, funny, and incredibly handsome. :D

I love how Tom describes what it was like portraying the God of Mischief Loki, in over the 10 years of him playing the character. Personally I can't see anyone else playing the character, he is made for Loki and visa versa Loki was made for him. Too perfect actor/character and character/actor, my favorite moments in this video of his description is where he mention the scene in Thor: The Dark World as well as Thor Ragnorok because both scenes are emotional, and as if the two brothers bonded in some way. Truly a wonderful actor and a amazing man, to play such a interesting character from the comics as well as Norse Mythology.

When you hear him narrating the scenes years after they he did them, he still remembers the lines and he's not lost within the scrip/the lore which he helps adapting to cinema. The few details like "the tesseract also called the space stone" makes it clear that he's comitted to the universe he blends in as an actor, unlike others who acts in films and have no clue what they're doing. He belongs to the elite of actors.
the most emotional moment for me was during Infinity war, when Loki called himself an Odinson. Forget all the other scenes, THIS is where he gets his redemption and where we can really really see him and how his thoughts have changed over the past movies. it tears me up every time i watch it
Much like many of the actors that became synonymous with the character they play in the MCU, Tom is the definite Loki and he absolutely plays him brilliantly. I can’t wait for the series and personally speaking, I feel he absolutely needs his own movie as well.

The way Tom had such a strong hand in creating the character of Loki is just so apparent...Loki is still to this day one of the few actually good anti-heroes I've seen in this era of pop culture and I genuinely believe that Tom Hiddleston was absolutely the best man for the job
