    The French onion soup looked good, but I think you might want to caramelize the onions first, so they get that deep flavor. Here in the States, we usually fill the ramekins with the soup and top with gruyere cheese and put in the oven until it's melted and bubbly, then add the croutons. Like you said, it's your first time making it, and I'm sure it was very good just the way you made it.

      Wow thank you so much for the tips!! Yes I think I didn’t caramelise it enough this time. And when you add the cheese and bread to melt in the oven, it will look so professional just like the kind that you get in the restaurants in Paris 😀 I definitely have to try the recipe again. It’s easy to follow a recipe but much harder to perfect it. Thanks very much for stopping by once again 🥰

      Yes! Authentic French recipe but I definitely need to practice more to do the dish justice :)
