It's funny how the human mind and body works. I'm pretty sure he would have crashed to the ground without the camera in his hand. But since he had the camera, he was so aware of the value he was carrying that he managed to put in all the energy to recover from the almost inevitable fall. Very impressive!
@@TimoBirnschein I'm pretty sure I would have crashed to the ground without the camera, yeah. I think it helped a lot as a counterweight to my fall haha
this camera is so incredible! haters can deny it but it really is as simple as they show to grade BRAW. Every camera has quirks, but you won't find a better image with a simple and intuitive interface as you'l find on the pockets!!
Fantastic as always! And super cool how you mentioned finding your own signature and style instead of listening to others 👍 Thanks guys. Love from Australia ❤️
Thanks for this nice review. As many other guys, I come from the GH 5 and the BMPCC 4k. I own this camera for three weeks now. It has that blueish tint on the screen that lot of other owners complained. Apart from this, I can confirm all the good things you tested out. The NDs are good quality, too. With a bigger lens, it`s a bit front heavy.
Funny, I have the BMPCC4K. And I've been thinking about getting the Canon C70 next because of its built-in NDs, etc. But. the P6K Pro is so amazing, and $3,000 cheaper, that I might have to get it instead. Great video and footage.
Love the channel and the video. I picked up a 6K Pro and am very happy. Only complaint is calling it "Pro". I would never consider an HDMI only camera to fall under the category of "Pro".
i will get my feet wet, im glad I watch this because one can get lost in all the accessories and rules and technicalities when it better to create and if it looks good its a good approach. Two more weeks and I'm moving up I have the Original bmpcc i love now it's time for the 4K. I HELD OFF because my computer needed an upgrade that's done I left MAC for PC and boy she fast.
Changing ISO is really nothing to talk about. There is only one or two ISO in any camera. Rest is gain, artificial, just introduces noise. With dual native ISO you get two options but you still need to choose one during shoot. You can't switch from one native ISO to other in post without extra noise. So whatever you do in camera or in post you choose your native ISO and add noise over it (or don't if you stick to a native ISO), and your camera or your software does noise reduction to it. So it's really meaningless to change ISO in post. It's just extra exposure dial with added noise. You NEED to do NR. Perhaps it only makes sense if you shoot JPG/MP4 etc compressed images with baked in settings, then you may want to choose a final ISO on shoot. But you still get extra noise with each stop you go over native ISO. Some cameras just are better at it because their native ISO is higher than others (i.e. P6K has 400 and 3200, A7SIII has 12800, don't remember the other native ISO).
Using a Fuji xt3 now, so trying to figure out what will be my next camera! been considering getting this camera so thanks for the review. Really like the big screen, since I don’t need an external one.. and image quality looks pretty awesome 😎
Really pleased you have reviewed this camera and going to be using it more. This camera is on my radar. I'm weighing it up against my GH5s. Lots of thinking to do haha Hope you are doing well :)
Hi there! Greetings from Romania! What settings are being used on this video please! I mean: 6k raw, 3:1 or 5:1? And what frame rate and more important for me what dinamic range? Video , extended video or film! Thank you very much, guys you’re the favourite filmakers! You’re the best! Good luck in new projects! 🤗
That's a good tip at 3:59, one I use a lot. After a year now how do you find this camera. Are u still happy with it or did you have to hand it back to them after the review?
Amazing footage... I am so confused between eos r6 and bmpcc 6k pro. I know In video specs bmpcc has no match but I am a hybrid shooter so... Really don't know which one to with??
Looks nice footage. I wish I could colour grade - my level is moving the mid tone slider up and down in final cut. I love the big rear screen tho, and the size and shape of the camera. Tip: I use my fluid head and rest the handle on my shoulder, this really helps to steady shots and its a piece of equipment you probably have with you anyway.
it's not good option for travel filmmaking because it needs to be ridded up, but whatever you want to use, just use what has kind of IS.because chance of having so much shaky footage is so huge
@@mohsenmoghaddas6406 I know the 6k pro needs extras to stabilize the footage. I don't plan to travel the world with this camera, but I want to have a lightweight setup.

Jepp, and that will come in a couple of months after using it for a while. That's when I know all the good and bad sides of it. This video is not a review.
Absolutely nothing more pro to this model compared to the previous one. Changing the battery type? Really??? Pros use v-mount external batteries. Internal ND? Pros use external larger ND filters in matte boxes that they can add and mix. Plus they can use gradient filter etc. Flip screen? Pros use external larger monitors or external recorders like the ninja inferno etc. I have a regular 6k so i'm not a BM hater FYI but this is definitely taking the consumer for a milking cow.
@Andyax What about Germany then haha. I guess you have fiber optics cable internet in your cities by now and are building public churching stations for EVs.. we slowly get at it, too 😛

I enjoyed your review of the Blackmagic Pocket cinema camera 6K Pro. Out of curiosity are you guys going to review the Panasonic S5 as I am considering purchasing it either that or the Panasonic S1
Blackmagic cameras are great, until they aren’t. I own several. Sadly, until Blackmagic starts offering better service for their cameras, there is nothing pro about them. I have an Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k, purchased only three years ago, that doesn’t work and Blackmagic won’t even look at it. They refer to it as a legacy product. Won’t even take my money. I should note, the camera crapped out on its own after I took meticulous care of it. Up here in Canada, it cost me about $10,000 for the camera body and viewfinder. I certainly hoped to get more than a few years use out of it for the investment. Not that I’m comparing Blackmagic cameras to Arri, but you can still send a 10-year-old Arri in for repair. To me, what makes a camera “pro” is the support network around it.
11:55 Guys, come on. You are not supposed to shoot at 1250 ISO in low light and raise it to 3200. If you shot at 3200 it would look way better. Because... That's a native ISO! At least do a bit of research before shooting...
