It’s our own calling. Our ego keeps getting challenged and crushed, until we stop having any beliefs or thoughts that enhance our ego, our real self is trying to claim more of us, to become bigger part of us, limiting ego only to basic bodily functions and a little bit of conceptual thinking of the brain that we need to survive in our careers and life in general so that our physical life can be supported. I’ve been trying out true meditation and it’s been great, however, I will often obsess about if I’m doing a technique right or wrong and I find this greatly hinders my ability to completely fall into consciousness. Specifically, I saw an interview in which you said that “it should be checked in from time to time that you are not too spaced out,” and now my mind being my mind is constantly checking during the meditation to make sure I am not “spaced out”. However, I find this has stopped me from falling completely into my consciousness. I am wondering what to do about this, I find it greatly hinders my ability to reach a state where my mind doesn’t have a hold on my being. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi adyashanti, or anybody else that may be able to help me. Thanks
I don’t see any response comments to your question. I’m hoping you found your way well enough to keep meditating. 🙏🏻😊

The audio is very distorted, makes it hard on the ears.
I love this saying of Thomas but i am not actually going to quote it for you.
It’s almost like you have no choice?
Sounds like he’s talking about Kundalini...
he's talking about shadow work mainly, but kundalini energy brings up this need too.
@@RogerioLupoArteCientifica Yea he does mention Jung. So if we don’t listen to our subconscious mind which helps remove our shadows, we may cause ourselves harm? If so, I’d think meditation is the only way to reveal that or else we can easily misinterpret our thoughts, like so many have with religion, no?
Thanks!
So you're saying that if you reject parts of yourself because you're scared of the outcome you'll go to hell. Nice. So you're already in hell for surpressing it all because you want to be accepted by society. And you go to hell after for not accepting it. Wow life's great.
