I totally agree with you. I’ve never seen the storm do that before and then when it does start to go up north it doesn’t stay that strong either. I’m not a meteorologist, but I follow the storms all the time. I’m always looking at the weather but I’d like to know what’s going on with the jokester. I’m down here in Florida. I’ve never seen storms just pop up and then disappear like they have they’ve always just moved from east to west or west to east. The storms are not natural.

When the earths magnetic fields are collapsing they sure do. You only think this has nothing to do with nature because you have no connection to nature and dont know the cycles that take place here which we are literally in the middle of a cataclysm cycle. People parish from lack of knowledge and that lack of knowledge is why everyone still lives in heavily populated cities. They have everyone right where they need them to be.

After charlie, it was almost 2 weeks without power in 100 degrees with 100 degree humiitity. Thank the Lord, i had a pool to cool off in. It was miserable. I feel for anyone that goes thru that.

If I have no power, in a week or so I'll be dead. My insulin will be spoiled and that's it for me! This is why all electric is ridiculous. In these tragic situations, you may need a gas generator to at least keep your fridge going, or medical equipment. Our government will kill us proceeding like this.

We survived 318mph winds during the May 3rd tornado category F5. Here in Oklahoma we have been getting 75-80 mph straight line winds… truly devastating. Thank you for for all the information! Prayers for everyone affected by these storms.

A good portion of Houston resides below sea level. If the water comes in faster than the pumps can pump it out, or there is nowhere to pump it to i.e. the sea level has risen, then it's gonna flood. I was there for hurricane Ike back in 2008.

True it's up to your knees when it just rains .they can't pump it fast enough n nowhere for it to go today

Just spent a n hour or so in west central Arkansas. Had a Tornado warning right after dinner that morphed into a severe thunderstorm. Missed us this time. Others weren't so lucky. Watch through tomorrow at 2100hrs . The alarm system on your phone works great.

Houston had over 90 miles an hour winds.
It had over 13 inches of water in some areas.
They were preparing for a smaller storm.
This is the first time, the whole state was in some kind of watch, warning .
Storm chasers seem to be stuck. In some of the places they were reporting.

I have been through many hurricanes growing up in Houston & I sure don't miss it. 140mph winds during Ike was the strongest I have experienced. We were without power for about a week where I lived.

We had 3 actual tornado warning in our small town. Streets are flooding from all the rain. Wind is breaking trees and taking down power lines. We're in NE TX far from the land falll of the hurricane. We're prepared, but many aren't.

Just went thru Ian 150mph .I was in the eye wall the whole time 12 hours! I had no power for 8 days. Still digging out of trees and debris 2 years later. We did not get damaged, we got destroyed. Buildings were washed out to sea, boats were everywhere on land. Ft Myers Fla.

Living in the OuterBanks NC , we get many tropical storms and hurricanes. Rode a few of these storms out. We evacuate when directed to. Never know how bad it can get with the storm surge. Have rode it out in 85 winds and waves 10-16 ft. before.
