The sheep is the animal that represents true, stable, and lasting love and its black color represents Yin/ night/ the feminine part (Yin) complementary to his masculine part (Yang)/ that he still dreams of but that he is ceasing to believe that he will find it someday (dreaming of love Letting love). When he sings “Love, you are the road I walk alone. The endless night I keep dreaming of ”the sheep appears reflected inside his eyes as if this were a dream he longs for but is destined to disappear. This is shown at the end of the video when the black sheep disappears inside his eyes the same way she had appeared inside his eyes at the beginning of the vídeo. The night/darkness that he continues to dream about could mean that love is like a dark blanket that he cannot see through despite dreaming/desiring what is beyond that blanket of darkness. Night/Darkness can also represent Yin, that is, the feminine that complements the masculine. Therefore he continues to dream of the feminine side complementing his masculine side and both forming a whole. This might be the most real interpretation since the author really likes to use light and darkness as in the principle of Chinese philosophy, where yin and yang are two opposite and complementary energies. The author's soul/heart was made to love and he himself still wants to love however he doesn’t believe that is possible. It seems that at the time the author wrote this song he had his heart and mind out of sync. There's too much blood in system. One has to love someone fast. But they don't find a true love. But that excessive love inside pressurizes too much. And so they decide to love whoever they find, during the process they give their love to that "whoever" . Both feel relieved.
