Actually, the main reason I became a 'Brony' or 'Pegasister' or whatever you call it now, is because all of the newer mlp remixes and fan songs made me wonder how good the show actually is. So I started to watch it. I used to watch the old shows and even still have the old pony toys sitting in a box in the basement, so ponies aren't really new to me. Still, this is the best version of it.
So many tributes to this wonderful and horribly unappreciated pony. It's wonderful.

After doing some research, I understand the meaning to this song a lot more. It's a far better song than I originally thought. It has purpose, not just being good music. I think this deserves to be Derpy's Balad. It speaks for her, since she's not allowed to be herself on TV.

well done, and a very fitting name as Derpy was Earased from the show because some (by some I mean a handfull with money and lawyers) think derpy made fun of mentally retarded persons.
I myself did a test at a center for children with down syndrome (friend works there)
there was 28 children (10 girls and 18 boys) and we watched both the edited version first then the orginal. only 1 did not like MLP at all and the rest felt a connection to orginal Derpy vs the edited Derpy. 4 girls felt they need more characters like Derpy, not just in MLP, but in general, in TV and movies.
But you think Hasbro is going to do a test like that? Nope because lawyers and persons without a mental issue think they know what is best for everyone... Season 5 will focus on this anyway (well sorta, just have to watch and fimd out) ^-^
But the real Derpy will always be loved and never forgot.
