Being a woman who was cheated on by her husband, I respect him for putting this out here. It’s never the same. I chose to take him back despite what has happened, and every day it gets easier. I decided to take him back, and I can’t hold that over his head for as long as we’re together. It’s a work in progress, but the toll it takes on a relationship when a man/woman cheats on their partner is just not worth it. Especially when the person being cheated on is a good human being. It’s so hurtful.

If my husband ever cheats on me that means he is able to disrespect me at the highest level. I would leave him as the trust would be irreversibly broken and I obviously misjudged who he is. It would break me but that's what it would have to be to retain my peace.

@@moneymarr nor should he have been any loss to her. If she did have any insecurities that he may not be loyal and faithful to her, didnt he prove her correct? Men entitle themselves to disrespecting & hurting us and being received back. Deeply believing you don’t have to be fair. Let a woman step out on her husband first then the conversation shifts and changes significantly. Hypocrisy. If your wife is of genuine value to you, then you wouldn’t have willingly taken part in anything that could bring you to lose her. She saw she was of no loss to HIM & honored herself enough not to pretend she didn’t. Every woman should leave the 1st time, or if she stays go and be with the man that’s been tempting her while she was faithful. Then reconcile. A fair exchange is no robbery.

The last Christmas with my Dad, I was telling a story of a time when he was drunk and spent the night with another woman. The way he told it was so funny; so since he was battling cancer, I told the story. He got quite and then said: " I thought being a man meant having a lot of women, but I've learned a real man loves his wife, children and takes care of his family." It was a very sobering moment and provided insight and I'm a woman. My Mom was a super hero for dealing with his foolery. I love them for being great parents and keeping us together. I now know that must have been hard because they grew up together! Literally.

I realized that after being an idiot for 20+ years as a young man.
Cheating is weak if you say you’re committed, then turn your back on the person your closest to in the world just for superficial pleasure, you’re a coward.
Love and family is the thing that brings the most pleasure in life not some girl in pain that needs your attention to distract herself from the pain for 15 minutes, but men are stupid, cute face and a fat butt, they’ll throw their family away.
Some women are strong and you mess up once, that’s it. You might not be living with your kids anymore just because you were weak.
