Just found your channel! Really enjoyed watching y’all dumpster dive! When you find candles that are broken take them! You can melt down remake candles in the candle holder you found or cut up to make candle melts! I just subscribed to your channel!

dumpster diving is illegal in most places. it's also fun because you never know quite what you're going to find. "one mans trash, is another mans treasure" the time I found a Kirby vacuum cleaner was certainly an amazing find. it still worked too!

I am going to tell you about my issue. I listen to my videos on a headset. Clover mumbles & I turn up my volume. Then Purse speaks and it is loud. I know when you get more comfortable in front of the camera I know you're going to do well! This haul was absolutely amazing! I also love the gift of giving all year round!
Hey guys its great that you are donating the things that you find but they were in the dumpster so they should be at least wiped down with Lysol wipes before putting them in a food pantry.This was a great haul hope your channel continues to do well.
I agree! They could even just spray and wipe off at the blessing box. Even though they were mostly in their own bag I think it's only right to clean it first. I always think if someone is homeless getting the food they can't wipe it down nor wash their hands after opening the outside package that was in the dumpster but we also don't know who touched our food in the store or before it got to the pantry when we get it so it's just best to always wipe stuff down no matter where it comes from.
@@reneekey3935 I agree and alot of the items were on the bottom of the dirty dumpster so it would be a good idea to get in the habit of wiping everything down before donating it.

Hello! So sad I can't go DD today because of a Winter storm which is here even as I comment. 😥 A lot of people throw out unacceptable items by those donation bins and I've rescued and sold many on Ebay...something to think about.
Same.. i pick them up and donate them or keep them. I found clean gently used Pioneer woman kitchen towels. Kept them all. Found other items, donated them. I'm mad at myself for not picking up a box of books, because it rained that same day.
That's not true as long as it's in date, wiped off l, and in packages it's fine. Do you know where things have been in people's houses or cars before it gets to the pantry? Most stuff you find is in a bag of its own and not mixed with trash. stop being so negative.
@@reneekey3935 Let me know where you are at, so I can tell my friends and family which food pantries to avoid. I volunteered at a food pantry in NY State and if we knew thngs came from a dumpster we would not accept them whether they were in date or not. Bacteria from garbage is invasive.
@@JKSJKS-q4t if I volunteered anywhere I'd go to all these stores before they threw it out and ask if I could pick it up. NY is obviously different than Illinois as long as it's clean and still has the air to show it's sealed they take it but I don't do it like them I take it home, clean it, take some stuff (like the candy canes) out of the package that touched the dumpster and check everything. I don't donate anything I wouldn't eat or feed my family as well.
Seems they are very careful , they're certainly learning . If you eat any take out ....sorry but you don't know where its been . Speaking from experience, having been in the food business for years.
New here! Please do not be like some other divers who let oppertunaties slip by. I feel any diver must be a handyman somehow. Try not to leave items behind that can be repaired and donated or sold at a garage sale. At the end of the day you need the big items to sell for covering your costs. Doing projectstogether can be a lot of fun. Love granny Sue

I don't know if this is true but someone told me Dollar generals have a list every month that automatically reorders certain items so that's why stuff that hasn't even expired yet is thrown out. They must figure oh well were getting more so were just going to throw stuff out even if it's fine.
No they aren't. Kelly and Alex are "breafkest" (supposed to be spelled wrong like that) they are awesome and have been doing daily or almost daily videos recently. 😊 This is my first time watching these 2 they seem nice so I did subscribe and hopefully I catch some good videos. I love watching DD videos when I can't be out doing it myself. 😊

FYI expiration dates mean absolutely nothing. As long as it’s not outdated over a year.

@@pompommania in this video we went early afternoon, so the stores were open. But we have also been going when they were closed as well!
