Very good film. I can't help but feel it's incomplete. Where's the dad taking young Sammy (Steven) to witness a meteor shower? The making of Firelight? The making of Amblin? I guess these moments weren't integral to the story of family pain, but it would've been interesting to see them as forays into how Sammy (Steven) escaped his pain.

In the end with John Williams I was thinking it, and I think I heard Spielberg say in the background: He still got it! HELLA YEAHHH he still got it!!
Leaving the background music in when John Williams is playing the piano was a bad editing choice.
