I was at the ARCA race before this right by the finish line and pretty low, and never got out of my seat until the Nationwide race was over. They were GREAT races! It was a great weekend too.
Go figure- one of the few Nationwide races Dale Jarrett wasn't around for, and his old teammate Sadler finally wins at a track that's haunted him for years.
If you watch the last 3 laps (especially the last lap), the drivers appear to lock bumpers. Maybe NASCAR is trying to cut them some slack and let them lock bumpers towards the end of the race. But, the tandem draft allowed more passing, and provided more exciting racing. I hope nascar brings back the tandem drafting in 2015!
I hope so. What we saw in the Truck 250 at Talladega in 2013 was what tandem drafting has been evolving toward - back to the conventional drafts but with the tandems for stronger passing.
Damdni482 no i dont hope they bring back the tandem drafting. If you watched the 2011 500 the race was very boring and pointless because there were no big wrecks, just 2 cars pushing the crap out of each other. No pack racing whatsoever.
Alec Steen - boring and pointless? 74 lead changes is boring? So there was no pack racing - you obviously weren't noticing how the racing was evolving back toward pack-type racing without NASCAR meddling - the 2013 Truck 250 at Talladega showed that.

Chad Boat hit hard!!!
This was a good race - NASCAR needs to be less obsessive against push-drafting; then the racing will be better.

Alec Steen The point of NASCAR is to race, not to wreck.
