Happy Birthday Caroline! Enjoy your special day! So happy for you finding all those clay pipes, stems, and bowls! You really hit the jackpot! By the way, I love Phil's collage in that shadow box! That was so pretty!
Thank you so much Lorie, we had a lovely time, despite a knee injury. Those pipe finds were brilliant! So glad you liked the collage, thanks for watching 🙂😎🐼
Happy Belated Birthday Caroline, ! What a pair of troopers, weather cannot stop you . Loved the entire adventure , what's not to love about it . Keep them coming . Congratulations on all the pipe bowls. So happy to see you both out and about .Lark on friends we love it and you too .
Loved your lark today! That piece of slate would have been an awesome craft piece to paint a pretty country scenery, maybe a cottage and a creek, with maybe some ducks or geese waddling by.
I love this site! It's where I broke my record for pipe finds. I found thirty in one hole, none of them had been used and I think they had all been in a box that had been dropped because all the stems were broken. There were fifteen RAOB and fifteen fluted design all made by Wilsons of Leeds....happy day! Glad you had a wonderful birthday Caroline 😀🎂💗 x

It would be lovely to put memory boxes together to take to residential homes to show the residents to bring back happy memories, as residential homes are always asking for things to help with entertainment for the elderly to bring back happy memories.
You are finding such pretty shards. Surely you must be able to make a massive mosaic somewhere? Or maybe you could arrange them on a coloured back ground & photograph them & turn them into designs for wrapping papers or textile prints?
I'm sure we could do a couple Sarah, but our biggest problem is finding time for mosaics, however the idea of making prints from them is something we've dabbled with before when we were making tee shirt designs, and is less time consuming. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂😎🐼
5 pipes!!!! Wow!! Well done to you both! The green bottle is beautiful. I can’t wait to see if it was a coin! The first pipe you picked up Caroline looks like it has something on it? See you tomorrow!
Happy Birthday, Caroline!! Belated best wishes!! What a spectacular pipe collection!! Did Phil like his plinth? As always, great history!! Thanks to both of you and a hug for Manky!!💕😺😺😺

Hey Phil you know your awesome desk, well I picked up an old doctors or post office bank of 42 draws with the wood inside that would have pushed or pulled the cards in alphabetical order ect. Yes Heather, it's only an hour up the road for Mick & Sarah, so relatively local...we have to stay a few days when we visit, as we live about 4 to 5 hours away 🙂😎🐼
Love the shed craft Phil!!! One suggestion, consider painting the back a dark color that coordinates with the pieces. The reason, eyes are drawn to the bright white in between the pieces as opposed to the pieces.
That's a good point Ninfa... My thinking was to create the sense of each piece as seperate, but displayed together, but a dark background may look better. Thanks 🙂😎🐼
