this movie is a masterpiece, i really don´t understand the criticism that it got back in the day when it was released. Yeah, the cgi effects may not be so good, but the overall movie is extraordinary
What ruined this movie was the CGI, the crew made practical effects, but the Studio demanded CGI because it "looked better" which it did not. The movie is great, it's just that the Studio ruined what the Crew wanted to do.
The only THING that ruined this movie was the CGI, it would have looked better with the Practical Effects the Crew wanted to use but the Studio demanded CGI.
