I could never think of getting married at 19 (I'm 17 rn) but that's because I have made different life choices (I'm a pre-med and I can't fathom or have a chance to marry until I finish university, so when I'm about 28-30). I’m 19 and just had my baby in December. After giving birth these instincts naturally come to you. Follow them! I can’t stress enough how in this short amount of time, I’ve listened to my moms advice instead of trusting myself and her advice ended up not helping at all. There’s going to be so many people telling you what to do, criticizing what you do and judging you. I’ve been dealing with so much of this and when it’s just me and my baby at 2am I feel it all, I cry and feel guilty for being a bad mom. But all those thoughts wash away when my baby grabs on to me and snuggles closer to me. You may feel that your not doing your best for them, but they do not feel that way. They love you and know you will always care for them. All mothers and moms to be out there, young or not, you are and will be an amazing mother. You will make mistakes, you will get frustrated, you will cry, you will feel like you failed but remember that NOTHING can prepare you for this. It’s a new experience each time and you learn as you go. The only thing that matters is learning from your mistakes in order to do the best at taking care of your baby, they will let you know if something isn’t right so pay attention to their cues. Just remember that your already a super mom to your baby and you’ll only improve and get more amazing. Good luck Kayla and congratulations!

We STILL receive judgement for moving in before marriage. No matter how many things you accomplish, you will never be the perfect image someone else has of you. I was pregnant at 17 and I was so scared to tell my parents. I thought they would be disappointed too but they were so supportive and my dad gave me flowers the day I told them. So glad your parents are supportive, you need a good support system to have a baby at a young age.

Im so early I don’t know what it’s about but I think it’s about her being pregnant and engaged at 19. THERE IS NO NEED FOR HATE. Yes is young she might be young but they settle down they are going to be amazing parents to their daughter. Stop hating.

This is coming from someone who is 23 years old and has a really big family. Please do not listen to these people who are doubting you!! They don’t know everything about you on a personal level and they DEFINITELY don’t know how you have things planned out(since your clearly a planner). Truth be told, you have got to be one of the strongest and most level headed 19 year olds that I have EVER met!! Girl, I don’t even know you but I’m so proud of you! You are honestly going to be a phenomenal momma to your baby and your Elijah is a phenomenal guy too honey!! This baby is going to be so lucky! Also I understand, after watching this, why your parents weren’t worried about the two of you at all.

I am so amazed by the fact that kayla’s baby girl can see her grow and skip school haha. When she’s old enough and kayla’s okay with her being on internet would be fun if she reacts to all the videos and vlogs. Funny how she isn’t even born yet and i am thinking about content.
