I think it speaks volumes about you and the peace you exude that the Robin and the Hares are at ease in your company 😊 Such a fantastically relaxing video. I needed that ❤️
Your videos are so soothing to the soul. I work from home and live in a country with very little to no nature so I really crave the outdoors. I used to camp with my family when travelling and I miss it. I set your videos in the background on my side monitor to make the monotonous day worthwhile. Thank you.
Josh that was a great vid ,I reckon you'd be a great presenter on springwatch ,your vids are second to none ,that Guinness stew looked amazing .See you next time .Peace x
I've said that in the past you wouldn't think twice if chris packham said we're going over now to camping with josh and this week he's got a wobin as a little fwend...roll VT...and I'm not joking 😀👍
Josh. New Orleans, Louisiana, US here- we are having our first ever proper snow (9.5 inches) right now due to an arctic blast from the north Experiencing what cold and snow is really like first hand is REALLY putting all of these snow camping adventures into perspective! 😂 Wow. So impressive! Stay warm and adventurous- we went out for about and hour to walk in the snow today and couldn’t handle it 😂🎉 Thanks for the content
Only just found you today! I love the way you're able to relax in nature. My son and I are full-time, stationary RVers and we love being out in nature. Our campground is so peaceful and we love the community we have here. I'm glad you had a friend with you at least part of the time on this camping excursion. I got nervous in the last one where there were people around you and wouldn't make their presence known, other than moving in the shrubbery. When you called out to them and no one responded, I was hoping you'd head out. So glad you did! Many blessings on you and your family!
Great video Josh. I’ll be hot tent camping this weekend in West Virginia. Planning on making Finnish Salmon Soup and drinking a few with friends. Can’t find the ingredients for a fry up over here, but will improvise. What are your plans to expand your camping comfort zone this year? I enjoyed solo cowboy camping this past year and now hot tent camping.
Just found your channel yesterday. Very enjoyable. Going through a lot in life right now. I can't get out as much as I use to. I'm 54 live in Canton Ohio. My buddy Jim and I use to have fires like that very frequently. Just a good time to enjoy the little things in life. Nothing like good company. Thank you Josh
Happy New Year Josh! Glad you were able to get out with Steve again. That fry up and stew you guys made looked excellent. Cant wait for the next one! Take care and stay safe my friend!
Hello from Ottawa, Canada. New subscriber here about 3 months. So far I absolutely love your videos. Your chill attitude, the beautiful landscapes and the meals that you cook are fantastic. But I wanted to tell you that what I like the most is that your content is not an educational one. Sure you give us tips but instead you're all about being in the moment with nature. I'm 55 and I've been camping/hiking all across Canada since I was a kid. I can't anymore for health issues but I never miss your videos. Thank you for keeping the spirit of the outdoors alive in me. Cheers Mate 🍻
Good to see you buddy and I see you have a little friend in the woods be a good idea in the winter months when camping would be to take fat balls for the little one's 😊😊😊😊
Loved this Josh .... i love when i see camp cooking and its why i love your videos , your so therapeutic to watch ....i defo cheered up thankyou .. great seeing you and steve out cooking over the fire too ...awe the robin ❤
Fantastic video. You really captured nature so beautifully & you come across as such a lovely humble guy. I was very happy when you said you were staying there one more night yourself. Keep up the great work Josh
Hey Josh Just a big thankyou on your latest video. It was absolutely fantastic watching you again My wife & I love your videos & this will be our first full year watching you. We both love & admire your enthusiasm & spirit for the outdoors. You are so wholesome, energetic & a beacon of light & positivity Stay wild & stay free
Hi mate great video lovely camp couldn't stop laughing at you and Steve cooking that stew 😂 them night vision goggles amazing and great wildlife great entertainment thanks Josh
Your videos are a pleasure to watch. Your real, honest personality shines through. It's great to see videos of camping adventures that are original like this one !! Keeping cooking it up, Josh!!
Hi josh iv just watched your video again so had to comment again you really are the nicest man on UA-cam i would love to camp with you and steve what a great time that would be more video's mate please please stay true to yourself mate 😊😊😊
Tip for your next stew, stir in some peas pudding you get a lovely velvety finish and thickens it slightly, and cook your mushrooms in oil then just cover them with water and boil it off,and fry them finish with a know of butter, perfect mushrooms, great video.
One of my favourites of yours to date: incredible food (that stew and that breakfast!!!), cozy tent and campfire, gorgeous woods, and your optimistic view on the world. You’d be an awesome bloke to share a camp with. My go-to camping channel. Thanks so much for sharing and all the best!
Hi Josh. Happy New Year and thank you for another amazing camping adventure. I really enjoy your videos . Brings back great memories of camping with my family and friends. I still camp when i can but it is way too cold for me here in Massachusetts right now. You inspire me to get outdoors when I can. And until that time I will enjoy watching your content and learning new things from you as well. Cheers and well wishes to you and your family.
Happy new year! Just recently found your lovely channel, thank you for letting me experience some camping again. Reminds me of when my dad would take me as a kid. Except our meals were never as extravagant as yours :D
Hi Josh. What a lovely weekend out in the woods. I hope the snow up here in northern Sweden disappears so I can also go out into the forest and just take it easy and cook good food and just feel good, but I'm probably still a few months away. But it's good to know that spring and summer are coming, then you have something to look forward to 😊 Have a good weekend // Elisabeth
Crackin vid as always Josh that little robin was after some food off you it was looking around for grubs and such where you had been kicking up the ground hence it being in your tent maybe take a packet of mealworms with you next time mate atb pal and here's to the next one buddy. 😀👍❤
Very nice and a very cute little bird. It always makes me smile when I see you guys using tents without floors as here in Australia if you tried it you would most likely be sharing it with some extremely unpleasant critters in short order. Only a couple more months until my next week away camping and I can't wait.
Josh, I hope you will see this, try washing your wool jumper in just fabric softener, like comfort, put a good dose in your washer drawer, cool wool cycle, this will restore you jumper. Then dry flat between two towels, this is an old army trick, as we would get billed by the QM (storeman)
Awesome camp buddy the night vision cam was so good I'm so glad I waited and watched it on the tv in 4k I'm going to try and get out myself today 19th of jan thanks for sharing josh regards lawrence
Just incase anyone missed it, he said "Beans" 😂 Beautiful camp, gorgeous lighting through the teepee tent ⛺ delicious food and a smile on my face. Cheers Josh 😁🤘💜

Great video Josh, can I share a tip with you? In your last video you asked about any ridgeline tips instead of bungiees I think. Well I picked up a tip from Greencraft channel.. worth a look.. basically he turns a paranacord into a giant daisy chain. With a short stick at one end. . No more learning knots. Works a treat, basically works same as daisy chain loop straps you get with hammocks, but longer. You can even have a few and link them together because you just pop a small twig through the loops like a button. (Hope I'm making sense, better to scroll through Greencrafts videos. ATB

Good to get outdoors, bad to pollute the land with steel ballbearings. Maybe think about that.
