This review is absolutely accurate. You really do get an alcohol smell right at the start but it goes away really quickly. You can actually smell that alcohol thing from inside the cap as well. But the fragrance after a few minutes is really amazing

You’re correct in saying that it appears to be the best among all the cheap clones of BR540. …can’t believe that it’s better than Untold and Al Haramain Ruby Edition.

Naaah, better definitely not, I own I think every clone of Baccarat Rouge EdP, and of course the OG for special occasions, they are all amazing (the middle eastern clones especially, imo), but none of them is better than the OG, the magic you get from the OG, its an other experience, at least for me.....
I love it! Performs well on my skin and feels like a more masculine version of br540. I didn't like al haramain rouge. Smelled like a over heated computer lol.
I also don't like the amber oud rouge it smell almost like javex and a hospital corridor or bathroom... a mix of cleaning products and nothing else. It's linear. very masculine and spicy!
This made me laugh cause I had Amber Oud Rouge and just now got Ana Abiyedh Rouge. Amber Oud Rouge lasts ages and projects like a beast but it smells terrible like bandaids to me. The Ana Abiyedh Rouge smells way better to me. I will admit though while it lasts a decent time 5-8 hours. Projection is just average and sillage is non-existent to me. Luckily I feel like overspraying isn’t a problem with this perfume. I use 5-7 sprays lol. I mean I got it for $18 so I don’t mind wasting it.
I never knew that it was an easy scent to go nose blind to. That explains why I can’t smell Amber Oud Rouge for very long. However when my dad was wearing a sample that I gave him, it smelled beast mode every time I was near him 🤣
I wore Parfums Vintage BR540 clone Sunset in Heaven Intense to work one day. Worked 10 hours in the heat sweating hard all day, and I got a compliment from a lady at the store on my way home. I couldn't smell it after 2 hours though.
And that's exactly the thing with BR540 and some clones👌🤪🤌 Do you tried Amber Oud Ruby Edition? That's so much more potent and an Extrait de Parfum dupe, it's also the only fragrance of this DNA, I don't get noseblind from, even from the OG Extrait I get noseblind after 2, 3h, but Amber Oud Ruby I can pick up even on skin the hole day....
You know how other peoples' houses always have an unfamiliar smell to them? Well, I tried this today. It immediately transported me to my aunt and uncle's house. They live a pretty modest life and I'm about 75% sure my uncle hasn't deviated from PR Pour Homme in the past several decades. So I dunno why their house smells like BR540, and has smelled like BR540 since before BR540 was a thing.
It’s actually pretty good but idk if it’s just the nature of the scent that it wears super light. It’s there but u gotta go sniff urself to find it lol but for $17 I ain’t complaining
I really like Lataffa scents, and I have a macerated Ana Abiyedh Rouge. It is pretty good overall, albeit a little light. Honestly, now that I have three, for a BR540 clone, my choices would be Ana, then Barakkat Rouge 540 and finally ARMAF Untold, in that order. They get progressively more expensive and better, in that order.
The white onion sweet smell at the opening lasts only about 15 minutes, after that it is all good!.This is about 93% Bacarat Rouge with about 7% Dylan Blue.
Just got it Ash and your review is spot on bro!!! I've gotten several compliments and i only been wearing it for 3 hrs. Amazing juice!! Blind buy worthy
thanks for pointing it out that some people get nose blinded to the perfume. I have both Untold and Oud Ruby edition, I felt that I just sprayed some water but surprisingly found that the smell was there the next day but still very weak. 540 does smell much stronger to me, I even thought that 540 could be a perfume for the night club.

Absolutely live the BR540 scent however, I must be allergic to something in it.... I quickly become short of breath and get congested. However, I do fine with this clone....
I have had this over a week and pretty much nothing.. I am told to let it sit for a while. Today I get strong alcohol, a bit of nail polish remover and a very soft pleasant smell that dissipates in seconds. If this does not improve by end of month or beginning of February, I will return it.
Best br540 dupe imo is Atelier Rebul No 94. Very high quality, doesn't make me anosmic (unlike the original) and a little less sweet with more saffron. You should definitely try that one out.

I recently got Maison Alhambra La Rouge Baroque. I was totally surprised by the high oil content.. its beast mode on my skin, and is the best clone I've found so far. I wonder if it's a different formulation from the original baroque rouge.
I just got it yesterday and I really like it. I don’t get anything alcoholic from it. I think the bottle is looking luxurious and the smell that I get from it is very sweet and amazing. Seems like sweeter than jpg ultra male even.

This one was too synthetic from the beginning till the end... but yeah you are right it becomes better after a time but still verry synthethic, alcoholy and too sirupy. If i have to pick a clone of BR (without thinking about the price).. i would pick Al Haramain - Amber Oud Rouge. If i want the best for a low price... than my pick would be Afnan - Violet Bouquet. And i have own/tried 6 Clones...

Probably agree with this video. When just spray, it's very synthetic, like nail polish remover. But after about 15 minutes it becomes more and more like 540 EDP, maybe >95%, i can't tell the different although test it side by side with 540 EDP. I try many clone of 540, and this is very good. If you find a clone of 540 EDP, take this and find a clone of 540 extrait, take Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge or Ruby
I bought it for $ 25. I have never smelled BR 540. The Latrafa on me is thin and light:( It is pleasant but so glad I just bought the clone. I will revisit later on because I've found fragrances at different times smell different on me
It's better if you don't try the OG, if you once fall in love with the real deal, you never wanna be without the OG, although it's a great clone, but the OG is just Baccarat and out of competition imo...;)
Yikes..... I never realized it's a scent that many become anosmic to. I sprayed this on me like 20 times one morning before bringing my car to the shop. I couldn't smell it. I bet those guys were hoping they'd never see me again LOL
And don't spray it near your head, that also makes it a bit better, and if you spend some coins into the BR540 oil, or/and lotion, maybe also the hair parfume(both really amazing, long lasting and high quality:), you will smell yourself the hole day, even if you spray it near your head, if you adore this fragrance, its worth every penny...👌🤌😘

Can you recommend any great cheapie black licorice as well as a saffron fragrances please. When I say black licorice and saffron I mean a few of each sent but I want something with those as the main note. I can't really find anything and I tend to trust your suggestions prob more then anyone elses
Red Temptation from Zara or/and For Him Red Edition. And you can test them in your local Zara. No blind buys and disappointment. I like Red Temptation more.

What a waste of money. I bought Lataffa Abiyedh 2 weeks ago and right after several use only the smell of BR 540 starts to fade until I only smell pure alcohol, similar to sweet nail polish. So disappointing. Will not go for clones anymore after trying this one.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago to use as an air freshener in my car because i really like the DNA of BR540 😂 Its real good considering the price.

That how I use ARMAF Sillage. It’s longevity is garbage on MY skin.

“Abiyedh” in Arabic means white and “Ana” means I Am….So it’s a literal translation on the box…lol. Great review, I love Laffata fragrances.
So I gave this a few days of wear. WOW. That's all I will say. Pull out the fur coat, and put on the pinky rang, this stuff is pimp'n.

Place a little Vaseline or unscented lotion on your pulse points, and spray about 2-3 sprays on each pulse point. Works wonders for me

Can you recommend any great cheapie black licorice as well as a saffron fragrances please. When I say black licorice and saffron I mean a few of each sent but I want something with those as the main note. I can't really find anything and I tend to trust your suggestions prob more then anyone elses
I bought it and when I smell this initially I get an oud like smell similar to oud for glory.

And you can test them in your local Zara. No blind buys and disappointment. I like Red Temptation more.
I agree. For him red edition is shockingly strong for a zara. It projected for hours on my skin, and I could smell it even after 10hrs.

Hi Jay I only know of the old Versace MAN edt released in 2003 in a square purple bottle it was an awesome fragrance. I hope its a re release but otherwise I've not seen or heard of anything new. I know I'm not Ash. But hope I've helped.

I have a quarter of a bottle left and guttered can't buy it no more so grab it whilst u can. This is the original in the man line and much much better than versace Man eau fraiche 2006

not closer at all... cabaret rouge as done flowers, amber rouge is plain javex or cleaning products, there is not sweetness or flower

What a waste of money. I bought Lataffa Abiyedh 2 weeks ago and right after several use only the smell of BR 540 starts to fade until I only smell pure alcohol, similar to sweet nail polish. So disappointing. Will not go for clones anymore after trying this one.
